YIKES! I had never had a problem with the Septic System in the past and had no previous relationship with North Shore Septic. It was a Saturday evening in January and there was 2 ft of snow on the ground and my Septic System was backing up!
Who would I call???? On a recommendation from a friend, I called North Shore Septic and they were here within 20 minutes! I was so grateful.
Despite the 2 feet of snow on the ground they quickly found and uncovered the septic tanks in my yard. They managed to resolve the immediate problem and told me that I should be able to get through the weekend and that they would be back on Monday to fully assess the situation.
They returned promptly on Monday morning as promised and conducted a thorough analysis. They told me that they system was fine for now, but that it was old and may need to be replaced. However, they told me to do nothing ... they could have frightened me into replacing the entire system, but they told me to and quot;wait and see.and quot; They said that if I didn't have any problems for the next 3 months, then I wouldn't need to do anything and to just leave it alone! So, 8 months later no problems and I am extremely grateful for their professional advice!
They were prompt, responsive, honest and reliable.

It was terrific. We had a company there that could not find the cesspool after many attempts (and me telling them where it was) and we gave up with them. North shire was recommended. They came on time, found the cesspool right away, mapped my property for the future and gave us great advice without pushing other unneeded services on us.

I thought they were very responsive. They got the job done quickly. Price-wise, it seemed expensive, but maybe not.

First provider did his work and we still had a problem; north shore checked all aspects of cess pool system and we were up and running again I will always call North Shore!!!

Ceptic system backed up, we called North Shore Cesspool, after some wait maybe 2-3 hrs. they arrived and began draining the tank. They did a good job, were respectful of our property and polite.

Great. They gave the old first tank a great cleaning and took care to install the second new tank in an optimum location. They cleaned up afterwards and repaired lawn surface.

They came for an estimate. He told me that he did some work for a neighbor of mine. I contacted the neighbor who gave them a great recommendation. They came on time. Although my front yard had to be dug up, they took care to do as little damage as possible. They cleaned out my original tank. Identified my water line and other utilities. Explained why they were placing the new second tank where they did. And when all was finished they put my yard and bushes back together again. So far no backups. The work was done summer of 2010. I can't remember how much it cost (I'm not near my checkbook right now), but it wasn't cheap. As a home owner I feel that I got great service and a high quality septic tank installation.

It went very well. They figured out a way to solve the problem that no one else had been able to do. I would recommend them to anyone.

I found the company's name on Angie's List and called immediately after finding sewage back-up in my basement sink. The receptionist was polite, friendly and thorough. I was called shortly afterward by Doug who gave me a time that he would be able to get there (1 and 1/2 hrs after speaking to him). He arrived promptly and quickly found the cesspool and informed me that the tank truck would be coming soon to drain the cesspool. They arrived shortly afterwards and did the job efficiently. All company people were polite and professional and I was averted a worst disaster because they acted so promptly.

Phone calls were returned, appointments were made and confirmed efficiently. Owner, Doug, was helpful and informative. He located our cesspool tank (under our deck in the backyard), showed us what was going on, gave us advice and alternatives. I can't comment on price, because we did not compare prices--used this company as they came highly recommended by neighbors. I assume they are in the ballpark of other companies. Friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
