John was a pleasure to deal with. He came by to take a look at the problem I had and suggested the most economical approach to what could have been a very costly repair. I would not hesitate to use John again for any of my electrical needs.

Called JDM from an Angie's list posting on a Saturday and got John immediately on the phone (A+ for responsiveness). Told him what seemed to be the matter and he came by to see what the trouble was, en route home on a day off might I add. He took a look around, took off the breaker box covers and gave me a sense of what the troubles might be and said he'd squeeze me in on Monday morning to troubleshoot and find/fix the problem. Again, A+ for showing up. He called Monday morning first thing to confirm he was heading over with his crew - yet another A+ in my book!! John came with Marcus and Felix....very nice guys!!!! I showed them the breaker box, the various outlets/rooms that were effected and they went to work. Troubleshot the problem almost immediately as a faulty breaker but they checked some of the outlets/switch boxes all the same to ensure all was safe. They changed out the breaker and were done within 40 minutes of having arrived. I couldn't be more pleased with their work, professionalism and most of all, honesty. To that last point, they could've easily stretched out the call for a few hours and looked in every nook and cranny just to run up the clock and hourly charges but they didn't, they figured out the problem immediately and fixed it. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

John and his staff came the next day and analyzed possible source of problem. After a thorough check he told us what source of problem could be but understandably, no guarantees. He didn't try and upsell us on any unneeded stuff like others in years past try to do (plumbing, electric, mechanic, etc). Thorough, prompt, professional and corrected problem (fingers crossed it will remain fixed)! My experience is that many, with high number of reviews (all categories) are often offering promotiions which are not a bargain when they "find" other problems requiring more work then needed and/or anticipated. Highly recommend.

Resolved major problem by careful systematic elimination of possibilities (I have professional experience with this type of analysis and came back promptly to take care of a more minor, easier to understand but more time-consuming second problem.

John not only squeezed me into his schedule for the busy upcoming week he had, but also showed up early on the scheduled day and called in advance to confirm. He and Mookie assessed our electrical issues and began working on them right away, and even though they had to leave twice and come back to get supplies, they did so very quickly and finished the work diligently and efficiently. They were very clean, friendly, and professional, and very honest about the troubleshooting options, cost, and what needed to be done. They also took the time to explain to me what the issues were so I am aware for future reference, which was very helpful. I would gladly work with them again and would definitely recommend them to others!

It went very well. They were punctual, courteous, & professional. They did the work in the time paid for, very efficient. I was charged for the replacement outlets, which was not part of the labor. I was very satisfied and will call on them again. Everything looks great.

I called John of JD Electric to my mother's house because the overhead lighting in several rooms and the television were not working. John responded quickly and investigated the problem. He and his assistant determined the causes of the problems. John determined part of the problem was that one of the wires (no longer in use) was shorting the other wires. He neutralized the wire, which removed a potential source of harm as well as fixing the lighting. John communicated the progress of the work with me by phone and explained what he was doing. I was very impressed with John's expertise and his keeping me informed of his investigation and resolution of the problem. I strongly recommend JD Electric for any residential or commercial electrical issues.

What should have been a simple pool wiring job was immensely complicated by lousy weather and adapting to old technology. John D was thrown more than one curveball but he and his team responded well. I learned a lot about proper outdoor wiring in the process. The end result is exactly what I wanted.

The wiring and boxes were old and in bad shape. John and his crew replaced the wiring and boxes when needed
and made sure that everything was safe and up to code. I will use them again when in need of electrical work.
