I used this company several times and I've been satisfied every time. The biggest project was a new filter and heater. I went from constant problems to no problems at all. Great work! The price is fair and there's never an up-sell. Just straight to the point. I highly recommend.

I have an older pool and WNY Pool Doctor replaced my pool filter and also kept up with regular pool cleaning. They also did an acid wash treatment to remove stains in the pool. All of their work is excellent and they are very knowledgeable in all aspects of inground pools. I highly recommend them.

Pool was purple and no one at Colley's could give us the fix. I called Joe because of a flyer I saw. Not only did he tell me what to do over the phone, he never charged me and his simple advice fixed our problem. Hired him to do our closing after that and work was done timely and professionally. Absolutely great. I was a frazzled new pool owner who could not stop the leaking from the hose connections of a brand new pool. Joe replaced hoses (with good ones, not the cheap ones i got with the pool) and fixed the connections. I was VERY pleased and able to enjoy my new pool. Would absolutely recommend!

I travelled to Williamsville, NY from my home in Atlanta to get my late father's home ready to be sold in a few weeks. The property has an in-ground concrete pool, and it was necessary to have the pool opened for the summer for showings. This meant replacing the filter, because I knew that whoever purchased the house would not want to deal with the existing filter that was more than 50 years old. Although this was a very busy time for him with pool openings, Joe Torrisi understood that I was on a tight schedule. He made the effort to visit the house the day that I called him, timely ordered a new filter, and made room in his busy schedule to install the filter so that the pool would be in good working order in time for the Open House. He figured out how to use the existing pipes and pump that my father had, and also provided information to give to prospective buyers regarding a product that he recommended for re-surfacing the pool. I made an excellent choice when I called the WNY Pool Doctor - Joe and his employees did a great job for me and I highly recommend his services.

When I moved into my house a few years ago I inherited an inground swimming pool that I knew nothing about. To say I was intimidated was putting it mildly. I knew the pool was older and I was  very concerned about potential problems with maintenance and upkeep. At that time I searched online and called every pool store in the area looking for a recommendation for someone to help me close my pool for the season. I got stuck with a few half-hearted people who each told me something different about how to manage my pool. None of them bothered to explain much beyond the specific job they'd been hired for. The rest of my pool education was from Google and the occasional tidbit I picked up at the local pool store. A few months ago I joined Angies list. I was overwhelmed at the recommendations for anything I could need. I happened to check the pool maintenance category and found the listing for WNY Pool Doctor. Even though it was still winter, the many good reviews had me excited to send him an email immediately to see if he could help me with my pool. Joe responded immediately to my query, and kept me updated on when he could open my pool. When problems with weather and landscaping had me move our opening date, I was pleased to hear his easygoing response "Don't worry! You're the customer! I work around your schedule." When Joe showed up with his two professional helpers he explained to me some concerns he had with the pump and pipes. He outlined my options for different systems I could replace it with. When I chose the sand filter he had it installed within a few hours a couple days later. He also opened the pool that day. He then walked me through "pool school" and told me how to operate the new pump, how to test my water, where I should go for inexpensive pool maintenance supplies and so on. He was very patient and thorough, especially when I called him the next day with a question I had after emptying the pump filter by myself for the first time. He responded to my call immediately, walking me step by step how to trouble shoot the issue with great success. Joe is a great guy and I hope to have him working with me on my pool for many years to come!

Joe returned my initial phone call within an hour.  He and Jim arrived on time after giving my a heads up phone call.  Joe checked out my heater,( which I had been told by my previous service, was broken) and showed me that although it had not been used for a long time it was in working order.  He schooled my on the operation of the pool and heater and left me with a diagram to make it simple. The job was finished efficiently and without a mess.  Later in the week I had a question and Joe responded at once. 
 
I am a new customer so my experience is based on the initial service provided.  I will say, that so far I am very favorably  impressed.  I will keep you posted as the summer continues.

I'm very satisfied with the services they provide. I don't hesitate to recommend them for either pool opening or closing, as well as ongoing chemical maintenance of the pool. They're very reliable. Their prices are very reasonable. They communication was good. The reliability was good. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. I've used a number of different pool services and as far as I'm concerned, they're the best.

Joe is the best. I purchased a house in September and inherited a pool in need of serious attention. Joe, though clearly very busy, made time within just a couple of days to meet me for an initial consultation. He and his staff made multiple visits over subsequent weeks to ensure the pool was in good condition and ready to be closed properly for the winter. Simultaneously, Joe educated me on the importance/benefits of a new safety cover, and explained the many ways in which it would save me time and money, long-term. I agreed completely, and purchased one. The installation went great, the cover is great, and I couldn't be happier with everything. I look forward to working with Joe again in the future!

Like Joe a lot.  Found him through Angie's list.  First time he came out I was having heater and filter problems.  Both were very old.  Was very honest with me and did not try to talk me into having unnecessary work done and overcharge. After he spent the time and reviewed my options with me, I decided to have new filter, heater and chlorinator installed.  Called several other pool companies and WNY pool Doctor was only one willing to include labor and parts in their bid. He was willing to rearrange his schedule to come out on a Saturday morning to get the job done.  Would definitely use again.

Trip #1 to diagnose the issue of our outside hot tub... in the bitter cold of winter...  without hesitation.  Bravo

Trip #2 to install replacement parts and test hot tub... warmer, but still winter...  Again, bravo!

The parts were a perfect fit.  The prep work made installation a breeze and the tub has worked perfectly since.

It was great!  Joe always returned calls or answered right away when we emailed.  He was always on time and showed up when he said he would.  Over all super great to work with.  I would recommend him to anyone in the WNY area!  He knows his stuff.
Joe also reviewed each step of the closing and his findings with in our pool system/heater and filter.  He was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable.

Joe, the pool doctor, first helped us when another pool company opened our pool but left it a terrible mess. It was unusable and would have taken us weeks to fix ourselves. Joe came to our rescue! He was over later that day and spent hour after hour cleaning and adjusting the chemicals. He was reasonably priced and provided us with both insight and advice on how and what it do. Since then, he has helped us rebuild the plumbing, fixed the lights, closed and opened the pool. Most recently, he measured and installed a safety cover to protect our children and pets. Joe is always attentive, responsive, kind, informative, and reasonably priced. I would without a doubt give him an A+ rating and glowing recommendation.

We contacted WNY Pool Doctor after several calls to other service providers.  When we explanined out situation, he was very accomodating. He performed a basic service call to explain what we had, what we needed to do, and how do maintain the hot tub.  Then we set up an appointment and he went right to work.  He told us everything he thought we would need to do to accomplish our goals.  He gave us estimates before completing any work so we knew what to expect and came in right at the estimated price. Because our dealer was no longer in business to access replacement parts etc, Joe got on line and found the parts we needed.  He also downloaded an owners manual for us. He completed the job promptly ! We didnt need to have follow up phone calls to find out what the status of anything was. Joe kept us up to speed on the whole process. We really appreciate everything the WNY Pool Doctor / Joe did for us.  Would highly recommend his company and services to anyone !
