They ordered the wheels(2 used-which saved us a bundle), then called to set up an appointment. They examined the questionable tire that hit a rock very hard and determined it could not be saved and replaced it but gave us a pro-rated price since the old tire was under a limited warranty.
We get all our work done at this garage as soon as the car goes off warranty.

Service was slow and relatively expensive. The car was towed in on a Thursday early in the afternoon. On Thursday, they promised that they would diagnose the problem that afternoon or Friday. When I did not hear from them on Friday, I called again on Saturday morning. They promised to look at it on Saturday, but I did not hear from them until Monday at noon. The work finally was finished on Tuesday.

Problem was solved in one day -- simple flush of the heater core. They also discovered one of the backup lights was out and replaced that too (saved us another trip before inspection). Total bill was around $54. Based on experience with other car repair places, we could have been told it was a major problem -- requiring replacement of the heater core for example -- and been charged several hundred dollars. We wouldn't have known the difference. Five stars to Trombley in Geneva for their honesty, professional service and reasonable prices!! I won't take my cars anywhere else for repair or maintenance!

I've had work done at Trombley's for the last three years -- stuff ranging from inspections, tires and batteries to mechanical repairs. Most recent was replacing power steering pump and battery on a 2006 Impala. Work has always been professional and at reasonable cost. They take appointments and seem to keep to their scheduled times. I would recommend them to anyone needing auto service in Geneva! On a previous visit for an annual inspection on an older van, I asked them to check out a minor oil leak. They diagnosed the problem but suggested that no repair be done, just check oil level more frequently. They didn't charge for checking out the problem. I appreciate the honesty -- they could have recommended replacing oil seals or gaskets and I wouldn't have known the difference.
