He works by the hour so his estimate was approximate. In fact, with materials, sales tax, and an extra or two (garage door, some minor carpentry repair) the final total was just below his estimate. This was less than half the cost of the estimates we got from three other contractors. We could not be happier with his work. He communicated well--when weather forced delay, asking where he might leave his tools, etc. He was pleasant and friendly and polite. He was willing to adjust his schedule to our needs. He worked quietly--no music or radio. He was careful of our plants. He worked quickly. And the work seems excellent. I understand that he prefers to paint interiors, but will do some exteriors. As he did for us.
