I contracted with JRJ Contracting on August 8, 2012 for $11,000 to demolish old garage and put up new garage, along with some ancillary work around the property, but the garage was the main focus. After demolishing the old garage in late 2012, Justin R. Jerge (owner), came back do so some initial prep and grading for the property, but that was the last work he performed. All my garage and garden equipment stayed outside for the winter of 2012-2013. In the spring of 2013 he said he would continue the job, but nothing but delays and excuses ensued. I finally went to court and sued him. He stated that he was willing to settle and again, more excuses and delays. Finally, the judgment against him was recently recorded in the City of Lockport, NY and County of Niagara, NY in the amount of $7,000 + costs, which includes $7,000 of deposits given to him. He is a smooth talker with a very calm and disarming demeanor, and he left me high and dry. I have not heard from him in about 2-3 months, since the last time he said he would settle the suit against him. I would not recommend him to anyone for any service. He is unreliable and honesty is not his strong suit.
Description of Work: The Provider only demolished the old garage. After that and a preliminary grading attempt, no further work was done
