 + -1 moreIf I could give this company A+++, I would. The technician arrived on time and was very thorough. With a thirty year old furnace, we were expecting to hear conversation about needing a new one, but he said ours was in good shape! It only needed a $5 part. With that kind of honesty so rare, we will be calling Drum Oil again - in the spring to look at our A/C unit. He said his job is to make sure he leaves customers with safe equipment. Finally - an HVAC provider that can be trusted!
Description of Work: We called Drum Oil to have an inspection on our 30 year old natural gas furnace. We were scheduled for the following week (12/30/16). The furnace was running just fine, but it had not been looked at for a while because we were extremely unhappy with the company that had been servicing it, and we thought we'd better make sure it was running as well as we thought! We would not have been surprised if we were told it should be replaced.

Description of Work: I was given an estimate to replace a furnace. It also needed to be converted to propane. I did not get the house I was looking to buy but if I had, I would have used them for the job. They answered my inquiries quickly and efficiently to my understanding whether on phone calls, texting or e-mails. Brothers both very nice.

 + -1 moreI received a heart felt apologize from the owner and he explained that the surcharge should not have been quoted. He assured me that in the future they would come out at night and fill if the issue happens again. They made it right concerning the issue!
Description of Work: A long time user of there propane service we ran out and they wanted to charge $175.00 surcharge to come out at night. Looking at records they should have been here two days ago as a scheduled customer. Also do they not get it we use more propane in the winter!

Description of Work: They replaced our 50 year old oil fired boiler that was in our basement. Their price was competitive, and they got the job done in a timely and professional manner. The replacement created quite a mess in the basement, and when they were done they had cleaned it up so well that I could not tell they had been there. While there, they pointed out that my hot water tank was leaking and would need to be replaced. They thought it might still be under warranty. It was, and all I paid was a small installation fee. We had only been in the house about a year, so if they had not volunteered that it was under warranty, we would have paid the full cost. A month or so after having the boiler installed, the basement filled up with fumes. We called them, and they were at our house within minutes. The problem was with our chimney, and not the boiler itself. Once again, they made this emergency call on thier piece of equipment and did not charge me anything even though it was not their problem. They have provided us great service on this equipment along with our oil and gas deliveries now for going on three years.

 + -1 moreIt went fine and we had no problems. They took our old furnace out and we had oil heat with them so we had it all converted to propane. It took them about three days to do the work. They were clean and accommodating and stuck to their estimate.
