Jim Craig Plumbing & Heating

I hired Jim to replace my existing dryer and stove with newly ordered equipment from home depot when i moved here. When Jim came home he wanted to install a shutoff off valve (even though there was already one) stating it was not according to code. What should have been a simple disconnect and re-connect turned into a much larger project. He started at around 2:00PM and at approximately 4:00PM he was not done and told me he would have to charge me extra since it was past working hours. This was never mentioned earlier. It felt like ransom, I had no choice then as the project was half done at the time. Most of the homes in the area are old and this man uses it as an excuse to *fix the code* and in the process charge customers unreasonably. Complete Scam artist , stay away. The work he did was average and he left a large hole in ceiling that I had to patch on my own.

Jim came on time with another plumber and began work as soon as I arrived and opened the door. They were courteous and had all of the necessary replacement parts on hand without knowing ahead of time that these items needed replacement. Jim was also able to get the water company technician to come by earlier than scheduled which sped up the process considerably. I was very concerned about how this process was going to go because the house had been vacant and winterized for over three years and I had purchased it without knowing the full condition of the plumbing system. I am very pleased with the work Jim and Jay did and will definitely call (and recommend) them again when the need arises.

They were satisfactory and I would recommend them. They came out to evaluate the heater, they have been out here a couple of times and gave me recommendations. They gave me an estimate and gave me tips for a useful life of the heater. That was four years ago when they did it. They came out and looked at the air conditioner and took another look at the heater. At one point I had some work done on the heater and it's worked out fine. I think the price was fine.

Prompt, reliable, professional. We had no hot water in our house. Jim Craig diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He had the parts with him that we needed. My only complaint was the price. I have used his services in the past and would use him again, but I always think his price is too high.

I thought he was very good. He was on time and he gave good estimates. He predicted any future problems that I could have, in case I wanted to take care of things. I will use him again in the future.

He fixed both, but he charged me two separate service charges because he said it was two separate jobs. The work was great.

THEY'RE VERY GOOD. THEY ALWAYS COME WHEN WE CALL AND AS QUICKLY AS THEY POSSIBLE CAN. THEY ALWAYS DO WHAT WE WANT THEM TO DO IF THEY CAN. IF THEY CAN'T DO IT THEN THEY RECOMMEND SOMEONE ELSE.
