We had one problem because the Town of North Hempstead requires a Building permit even if you are replacing what was already there. The town inspectors saw a large container in our driveway and assumed we were doing more than replacing cabinets and a floor. It took 12 weeks to get the permit. So if you want to avoid a problem get a permit for the kitchen or bath renovation or get rid of the old cabinets a little at a time on garbage bulk day and avoid the dumpster and permit. The finished product was excellent and would use them again in a heartbeat.
