Back in 2012, I wrote a review of my dentist Dr. Andrejs Krecko practicing in Garden City. I started the review with the word “Amazing!!!” Today, after he has cared for my dental health for another 8 years since, I will end my review with the word “======AWESOME!!!======” What would one expect from an expert and experienced dentist who teaches at a Dental School? Nothing but the BEST! Dr. Krecko continues to amaze me with his profound knowledge of dentistry and his exceptional methodologies. His bedside manners are the best I have experienced. When you go to see Dr. Krecko, prepare yourself for him to explain what is going on with your oral state in full detail. You can see that Dr. Krecko has a passion for dentistry by the way he treats his patients, with much care, thoroughness and recommendations and will keep extensive records with detailed observations of your progress. In short, you must visit Dr. Andrejs Krecko because he is “======AWESOME!!!======”

Dr. Krecko is the best dentist I have had in over 40 years. I only wish I knew him earlier. I'm driving 90 minutes to see him and it's well worth the trip. This dentist teaches dentistry one night a week so he's completely up-to-date in his profession. He is extremely careful, detailed, and skilled. My smile has never looked better!

Dr Krecko is my dentist. He is very thorough in telling how to brush your teeth and take care of your teeth. He tell you alternatives and tell less expensive and most expensive. He checks around the mouth very well. I think he is excellent doctor and very knowledgeable. His performance is excellent. I have been going to him since I was twenty now I am sixty.  In emergency, he sees you right away.

Dr. Krecko is a wonderful dentist. He is a nice person and very helpful.

Made an exception and helped us at a time of need off hours! Highly recommend him.

I visited Dr. Krecko shortly after a major hospital botched my scheduled sleep apnea triple procedure surgery the day before it was to take place. Doctor Krecko suggested an alternative for me to consider: an oral appliance.
I thank God for his expertise! He measured me, ordered the appliance, fitted me with it and carefully fine-tuned it. Today, a sleep study confirmed that my condition has dramatically improved. I feel much, much better, and without invasive surgery!
I trust and recommend Dr. Krecko?s care and skills wholeheartedly.

My family has been going to Dr. Krecko for over 15 years. We were referred to him at the time by Flushing Hospital Dental School. He is the most professional dentist I have ever known. I haver never met anyone as passionate about their work. He loves being a dentist and takes great pride in doing a perfect job. He is highly respected by his colleagues and serves as a teacher and mentor to dental students in a nearby college.This explains why he is current on all the new procedures and techniques being used in the field of dentistry. I have referred him on several occasions and those people have become devoted patients. His office is spotlessly clean and his equipment is all new. You would be hard pressed to find a better dentist on Long Island. They don't make them like this anymore!

Dr. Krecko always takes the time to make me and my daughter feel at ease. He describes what he will do and answers any questions. I have been his patient for 25 years and have recommended him to friends and family.

Excellent, Dr. Krecko is meticulous. I am a patient of his for nearly 20 years and I am ever so grateful for his skill and expertise.

He spent 3 hours with me.  He was very kind and wonderful.  He was very knowledgable.

The bridge he put in wouldn't stay, and my son's teeth keep falling out.  He recommended both front teeth be pulled.  We got a second opinion from a friend of ours who is a surgeon, and he recommended we just pull the damaged teeth and perform a bone graph.  The surgeon said we needed to put some sort of bridge, and Dr. Krecko put on a Marilyn Bridge.  This bridge will not stay in my son's mouth, and it looked horrible.  The teeth were too large for my son's mouth, and it looked like beaver teeth.  I had to have him file down the teeth to make them look semi-normal.  He used a "special" glue that he said only he could use, and he claimed it would take 20 minutes to take the glue off.  The bridge ended up falling out anyway.   I had to make sure he wasn't constructing the bridge in his office because it was so dirty.  I couldn't believe how filthy it was.  There is nobody in his office.  He just works in an old, dilapidated house that his parents worked out of.  If anyone inspected his office, he would be shut down in 10 minutes.  Then, he refused to take responsibility and blamed everyone but himself and gave me excuse after excuse.   I watched him answer his phone and make appointments while he was working on my son.  He pulled out his appointment book and started taking appointments in the middle of working.  HE SHOULD NOT BE A SUPER SERVICE AWARD WINNER!

Dr. Krecko was having a busy Saturday, but made time for me immediately, repaired my crown and solved my problem. It's why my family and I travel 70 miles round-trip to keep her as our dentist.

It was easy to get an appointment, they are flexible with appointments and times. Also, Dr. Krecko was very thorough and did a good job educating my child about healthy cleaning of the mouth. His office is also small, I believe he is the only person working in his office.

Today after my general check-up & cleaning, Dr Krecko physically adjusted my night guard using the most interesting equipment - describing, as he does with everything so that you feel more involved & aware of what he is doing - to address a minor concern I had regarding a slight change to my morning smile upon removal of the guard. Dr. Krecko checks my night guards at every apppointment to make sure they are not wearing improperly {and therefore NOT helping!}. This morning, he made a minor physical alteration to the guard to correct a spacing concern that had absolutely nothing to do with the quality or reliability of his handmade guard, but rather is my age-related isssue that his skills & craftsmanship have no control over. He graciously explains what he is doing, why he is doing it & the outcome of the changes. AND I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO ADDRESS MY CONCERN - on any level - when it comes to the care of my oral hygiene. Dr. Krecko is a talented, caring, compassionate & amazing human being - who happens to be a dentist. And a d*** fine one too!

If you want the type of world class dental/health care that is rare today and an approach with advanced methods, then Dr. Krecko is for you. I was impressed with the very first visit in his office at home. I am still impressed after a subsequent visit.
Dr. Krecko leaves no stone unturned when it comes to my dental/health care. He even advised me on points missed by my primary care physician (who I believe is almost a demi-god) as well as by my previous dentist.
While performing, he is very careful about how you feel, gives you choices, explains what he's doing and why, and makes sure you are satisfied. Extremely few doctors do this.
Can not say enough about Dr. Krecko. I am so happy he was recommended in Angie's List.

As I have to be watchful of gum disease I visit the dentist more often than the average person.  I have been under Dr. Krecko's care for over twenty years and he carefully monitors my condition and performs thorough cleanings and evaluation.  I have complete confidence in his expertise and skills and over the years he has performed several major procedures.  Dr. Krecko's work is very accurate and a few days after a procedure you have to think twice about where in your mouth the issue was.  The fit, finish and comfort level is always very high and he will always work with you to make you happy.

I need to visit the dentist more often than the average person due to the fact I am predisposed to gum disease and have had cavity issues for most of my life. I have been under the care of Dr. Krecko for nearly 25 years and the services on this particular visit were performed like all of the many others-expertly,patiently, and professionally.

I am a regular patient of his. He is wonderful. I have a unique situation. We are friends, and I'm also his pastor. He is very thorough and very patient in his work. His treatment is only minimally painful. I have an agreement that does not apply to most of his other patients. He does the same thing with me that they did with his mother. As I am his pastor he treats me at his own cost. He is my dental insurance policy. This does not apply to his other customers. He is very conscientious and very careful with pain. His cost is modest even for those people who don't enjoy my advantage. I couldn't be more pleased with him. I have nothing negative to say about him; it is all positive. I will continue to use him. I have a bunch of appointment scheduled with him. Unfortunately, I have some work that I still need done. We are longtime friends, but the good work that he does for me is something that is part of the basis of our friendship.

He is wonderful. He is thorough, does a good job and is personable. His rates are reasonable.
