Conveniently located a quarter mile from the Meadowbrook Parkway and 20 miles from New York City, we serve homeowners and commercial properties located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Invited Sales sells personal property at a fair market value ranging from home decor, costume jewelry, and collectibles to artwork, silver, gold and collectible cars. Appointments for consignments can be made 7 days a week by calling the store directly, 516-279-6378. Invited Sales is licensed and insured and referred mostly by local realtors, estate attorneys, American Association of Appraisers and word of mouth. It is not uncommon for us to provide services several times in one family. References are available upon request at any time.

We conduct public and private sales, at-home online sales and auctions, can stage and price your items and attract the appropriate buyers on your behalf. Our knowledgeable and professional staff can make the process of emptying a home so much easier, offer consignment services in the shop and organize monthly auctions. As for the mattress issue (it sold and was on the list you received) yes it had to be moved since the home is only 1000 sq feet and cluttered. We did this for the safety of our shoppers. You informed us that men were coming in to work on that Friday so clearly, people were in and out of the house after we left and I don't feel it's fair we take blame for what you found. We've been in this business for almost 20 years and have so many repeat clients, shoppers and customers. "[Member Name Removed], As you know the bidding started at $15. You tried to bid $5. That was why your bid was not accepted. We did not even know you were bidding. Then the night before at 10:11pm you requested an appt to come to the by appt only sale. I was able to give you an appt at 9:30am. You stated that you were not able to get into the building because you could not get buzzed in. however everyone scheduled for an appt as well as several other people were able to get in to the building. When I was finally able to speak with you I explained to you that someone Who had an earlier appt then you had already purchased the item you were interested in. Since the buyer knew you had driven over and were upset that you couldn’t get this table they were willing to give it to you. You then offered less for the item then what was being paid. I spent 8 hours yesterday texting with you and answering your questions all the while you were suspect of the process. You could have won the item had you bid on the auction. You could have purchased the item at the private sale if you wanted to pay the same amount someone else offered. First you offered $5 then you offered $75 but the the buyer who was willing to give it to you and arrived earlier then you offered $200. I am not sure how this was unfair to you."

If we had known the Roseville was not what you said it was I am Sure we did everything we could to Fix the situation. I am Sorry you weren’t happy. The consignment procedure can take a very long since there is no guarantee when the items will Be sold. Please be assured WE HAVE NEVER hid anything away to be purchased at half price. I can understand your concerns but I have to say that Your perception is not what actually happens. However, this is the reason Why consignment does not work and we no longer provide that service."
