Fair pricing, straight forward communication and job completed quickly and with surgical precision. We had a dangerous 130 foot pine taken down behind our house, plus 6 oaks out front. A great team and owner operated, local business to work with- we highly recommend them!

The Good:
Quick work, willing to work with you on the fly, for instance they ground a couple of extra stumps for me for a very reasonable price, and let me swap one big tree for two smaller ones without changing the price. They have cranes and skidders and all the heavy equipment they need to do the job quickly and efficiently. They are willing to leave you specific cuts of wood if you want some for firewood, for instance.
The Bad:
Since I live in a wooded area, they were not as diligent about clean up as they would have been in a residential setting. I think "throwing stuff into the woods" was an acceptable clean up method, but it left me with a lot of extra brush and sticks I would have preferred not to have. They also drove their equipment over some small pine trees I had planted on the edge of the driveway. My fault for not pointing them out, since they looked like the rest of the woods.
They cut down and left on the ground some smaller trees that were in their way. I would have preferred that they either not cut them, or that they take them away after they do.
There was a mis-communication with my wife that resulted in them leaving an entire dump truck load of chips on the driveway instead of the 1 cubic yard of chips she wanted. I had to hire someone else to come and remove them. Not really entirely their fault, although I think they took slight advantage of her lack of knowledge in order to avoid trucking away a full load of chips.
They drove a skidder over my leach field, even after I told them I'd prefer they didn't.
I'd use them again, but only with reservations and clear directions about what I expect.

Estimate was given the same day I called. John said they would be at my house at 8am and they were on time. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up. Exceeded expectations
