- Asked for written estimate but never received.
- Every time work was proposed and we asked for cost we were never given cost of project.
- Dumpster in reference was used by neighbor as well.
- Neighbor did not have sheetrock/insulation removed in most areas, just punched holes in the bottom. Asked why but never received an answer from Ralph (actually he claim the homes were being handled the same and they weren?t). Neighbor home had more water and for a longer period of time than we did.
- Supplied neighbor with written estimate but not us.
- Certain items were left water-logged that we eventually removed; rolls of paper towels, buckets of water, etc. This action delayed drying process.
- Days were billed when equipment was removed and not brought back for two days.
- Of course moisture remained in the basement since it is surrounded by French drain but that is what it is there for, after sheetrock was gone, so what.
- A little water came back during Tropical Storm Lee but sump pumps easily handled the situation.
- Claims that State Farm adjustor authorized removing of upper cabinets but that is not what I heard and adjustor said he did not mandate the removal or that of upper bookcases.
- Quite a bit of incidental damage occurred to non-flood items through the moving of equipment, etc. Fine layers of dried mud remain, requested some work be re-done but that was not done completely either.
- Upstairs was covered with a thick layer of dust from sheetrock and insulation removal; requested that this be avoided but nothing was done to close off large open staircase to downstairs.
