Olins Windows Doors More

Provider sent two men to do the jobs at different times. I feel only one man was needed to do the job. One man did most of the work and the other watched.  Arrived here un announce at times.  Some of the tile in ceiling were damaged but they still put them  up. Door was fixed but now the door will not shut all the way unless the outside door or window is opened.  They put two new hinges on the door and said they adjusted the hinges.
They said the door would not shut all the way  because of the air pressure in the walk way. However this door had work fine until this year.  
 They said a new spindle  like the one I had could not be found. So they used the old  spindle and screwed it in . Now the other spindles are loss and I have a screw in the top of railing going into the spindle. . The old one that was replaced is longer and the top was not finished. They came back with an stain that would  not matched the stain that  I had put on many years ago. It was a strain that I mixed my self.  So I told him I would stain it myself because I knew the mix and I had all the stain to do it with.  Originally I was told the bill would be around 600.00  which I thought was high but  I needed the work done before  4/23/16 . I had other things that needed to be done and he said it would be around 800.00 to get it all done. I said I do not have that kind of money right now so just do the three jobs for now and when I get the rest I will have you finish up the other job. We agreed on that.  They did the jobs I asked them to do but not very well. I asked how much I owned him he said 815.00 !  I said WHAT!~ I would like a bill please. So he went to his truck  and came back with a hand written bill. No date on it!  Says>> top Olins next line my name  then wrote~~ reset fire door and set tension. replace ceiling tile in breezeway replace spindle after repair of spindle . Material and labor.  30 days  then his phone number.  He did not sign it. I asked for an itemized bill  and he said he did not do that.  " I do not do my business that way."  I asked him again for and itemized list. He said" I do not do that"  and "remember bill has to be paid in 30 days."  Then he left . I was very upset  and said I am contacting my lawyer. If I am paying 815.00 for the services I would think I am entitled to a detailed bill. I just can not believe that materials and labor came to that much. I know how much the tile cost and I offered to get materials but he said he could get them at a discount. I am retired and live on a fixed income so when I spend my money on repairs I want to know exactly what I am paying for.  Lowes  was told what happened  because Lowes refereed him to me in the first place, So that is my story. I do not recommend this contractor to anyone.
