A neighbor highly recommended Mike Baldwin after having their pool concrete decking replaced. I called Mike and left message to return my call. Within an hour Mike called and set up an appointment for late afternoon to give me an estimate on replacing my garage floor. Mike showed on time, explained what was involved in replacing the floor and gave me an estimate. After accepting the estimate Mike set a date for the following Monday at 8:00 am to begin work. At 8:05 on Monday Mike called and said he would show at 9:00 am as he had to pick up some more equipment. I was shocked and impressed that I was informed he would be late as I have never been informed by any other contractor that they would be late. As most people have experienced some contractors give a time and occasionally you are lucky if they show at all. This was a good start. Once he arrived Mike and his crew of three immediately got to work jack hammering out the old floor. The removal was completed the first day. On Tuesday, Mike and his crew arrived to prepare for the concrete delivery. They power tamped in some fill, laid down a plastic barrier, and installed reinforcement. Once the truck arrived all four worked as a team to get the concrete in, leveled, screeded, finished and coated with cure and seal. The third day Mike finished the job by saw cutting score lines into the concrete. The finished job is excellent. The floor slopes slightly toward the overhead door and the door also closes flush to the concrete. To say the least I am extremely happy with the results and my experience with Mike.
