They worked efficiently and were pleasant. The roof on my home only leaked once, but that was a hard winter. However, the roof over the porch leaked badly summer and winter. They did come back to check it, but to no avail. They returned again the next year, boss in tow and he went up on the porch. They did something that did not work- they used one of those power nailing guns and went all around the edges. The leaking continued. I mopped up whenever it rained. There was some damage done to the walls inside , also the flooring but come summer and dry weather the warping got better. It leaked in the winter also and I did not appreciate ice on the floor of the porch at all. I am concerned about damage to the insulation and just hope it didn't cause a mold problem. They claimed the pitch of the roof was not enough and that is why it leaked. However, I had a new roof put on the porch the year before by someone else and it leaked only a tiny bit. The company insisted it had to be removed and they put on a new one that leaked. It felt like wasted money to me especially because their job was so bad. I got the idea to use a product I saw on TV and hired a handyman to apply it. It was a weather spray product. He went up the ladder, and before he got on the roof he saw what the problem was right away! On two edges they did fine, but on one they did not lap the materials over correctly and that is why it leaked. Why the company did not see that or acknowledge it and fix it I have no idea. So far the spray has worked and no leaking at all even in heavy downpour. It was a rubber like spray seen on TV where they put a screen on the bottom of a boat and it doesn't sink. Only I bought a similar and less expensive product at Lowes. No leaking this summer even with all the heavy rain we have had and I will have to see what happens this summer. The handyman told me that if it does leak again he will put tar on it for me.
Description of Work: Put a roof on home. The price was ok, except for the job not being done properly.
