Description of Work: Strip and reroof my daughter's ranch house in North Syracuse. Four sheets of plywood roofing were replaced, two of which were included in the contracted price of $5990; the additional sheets cost $40 each. In addition, the crew made needed repairs to about 30' of soffit and facia; the need for the repairs became apparent during the stripping process and an extra charge of $410 was added for that work. From arrival to departure the crew of 8 workers completed their efforts in a very professional manner; the elapsed time to complete the work, including a thorough cleanup of the site, was only 5-1/2 hours. I would gladly recommend J. Lindsley roofing to anyone needing roofing work done.

Description of Work: New roof on historic home in Syracuse

Description of Work: We noticed that there had been some ice damage to a part of the roof that is hidden from normal view on the back of the roof. The ice had pulled up the plywood on the roof and you could see inside to the insulation. Mr. Lindsley came the day after we called and in a heavy downpour he examined the roof from the ground and came a couple of days later to fix it. It took about an hour, and the roof looked as good as new...were even able to match the roof tiles almost exactly. I would highly recommend them for any roofing job.

Description of Work: Repair sections of roof, replace wood on roof, and new shingles on roof. Went well, smoothly, fast in and out, all cleaned up, no complaints, and fair price. Very happy.

Description of Work: Completely repaced entire roof started 7 a.m. protected house from falling debris finished at 3:00 p.m. and very impressed 3-4 p.m. whole crew helped with clean-up. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: They removed the old cedar underneath the old shingles with and replaced the cedar with plywood. They installed new roof shingles on main house roof, front porch roof and little side driveway door roof. They started at 8:00 am on 9/30/13 and worked until about 8:00 pm that night. They came back at 8:00 am the next morning and were finished completely buy 1:00 pm. I was told up front that they do make a mess (due to the cedar shingles that break up and fall apart when they remove the old roof), however; they also said they would completely clean up and there was not a trace of anything when they were finished. They had a crew of about 4 or 5 workers that worked diligently. I was very pleased and satisfied with the work that was done and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Description of Work: They removed and disposed of old roof and replaced it with new shingles. They finished way faster than I thought they would and were professional. The one thing that I appreciated was the fact that when J. Lindsley came to give me a quote he spoke to ME. He didn't talk to me like I have to check with my husband about anything. Ultimately I was the one interviewing the contractors for the job and I was making the decision on who we would hire so like I said I liked that he showed me respect in that way.

Description of Work: I have used J Lindsley Roofing for roofing multiple times as I have a contract with them. The last time I used them was about a year ago.

Description of Work: Had garage (34x40) roof replaced. Had old shingles and drip edge removed and new ones installed. Roof was completed in less than 4 hours with no traces of nails or shingles present. No tracks on lawn (they lay down plywood where necessary). Cost was only a couple of hundred above lowest estimate, but I was completely satisified.

Description of Work: 1 large garage roof aNd 1 cape cod style house, shingles Removed, ice and water applied, and re shingled in a very short time.
