Caster Well Drilling and Water Conditioning

Did a fantastic job

It didn't go well. In October of 2011 Casterwell gave me an estimate of $2,000 to drill a well or $38 per foot. They drilled about 40 feet and found water and hooked it up to my house. They collected theri money and left. About a week later we stopped getting water and we got red mud flowing into the house. I called them and the said they could come but they need to drill deeper. They came back and drilled down 70 feet. They re hooked everything to the house and they need to add a pump because the hole was deeper. They informed me it would cost an additional $2,000. They left and we had more red mud in the house again. I called and complained they said there was nothing else they could do. The well would clear up in a couple of months. We kept loosing water pressure and they refused to come back. They have an emergency number but don't answer on weekends. They never filled the hole they made in the backyard next to the well which was 6 feet deep. It is now 4/14/2012 and we still don't have good pressure or clean water. I called another well driller to fix the problem. This company said they (Caster) didn't develop the well properly. This company said it was done so bad they couldn't fix the problem. They said they could redo the well for an additional $2,000. I installed a double filter system but we still get red water. Caster wants more money for their pressure tank. They never finished the job. I will not pay until they fix the problem. I will not pay until the job is finished. For now I am using two $5 dollar water filters each week. They have caused problems and now my house is worthless for resale. I suggest not to use Caster for well purposes.
