I recently called Steve’s Appliance Repair to look at 3 separate appliance issues in my home: My fridge, oven and stackable W/D. What impressed me most was his honesty and restraint. Rather than jumping into unnecessary repairs, he carefully inspected each appliance, explained what he was seeing, made some adjustments, and reassured me that no major fixes were needed. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only knowledgeable but also genuinely committed to doing what’s right for the customer. He didn’t try to upsell or “fix” things just for the sake of it. I contacted Steve’s appliance repair to troubleshoot a dishwasher in my home. The response time was very rapid and we scheduled a visit for the following day. Steve was very honest, direct and straightforward. His assessment was that it would be unwise to repair the machine based on the cost - versus purchasing a new machine. I’m sure Steve could’ve profited handsomely from the repair but he did the right thing. His fee for the house call was very modest and would have been applied to any repair cost if a repair was appropriate. I give Steve the highest recommendation based on his honesty, reliability, and fairness.

First visit was consultation because parts needed to be ordered. Then work was completed. He is is reliable and punctual.

My dryer was making very loud noises and was shaking the whole house. Steve came and repaired it and did an excellent job. Simply put, Steve deserves every one of his 5 star reviews, he's honest, on time, neat, and one of the few appliance guy's who tells you exactly like it is. He was very clear up front that it would be ~$200 if it was simple and more if more complicated and that's exactly how it was. Steve is honest and won't waste your time or your money

Steve came within hours of being called, despite him initially telling me he was all booked up that day. He arrived when he said, took about 10 mins to diagnose the problem, fetched the part from his car, and hey presto the compressor started back working. I hadn't called Steve for about 5 years and he was as pleasant and responsive as ever. I cannot recommend him enough. the service was $95 and the cost for the parts was $130. He indicated if the fridge failed in the next 24 hours, he would refund the money for the part.

Steve came right away to fix our refrigerator on a Sunday morning. His price was reasonable and he was very professional. We highly recommend his services and will use him again in the future.

Called late afternoon on Friday and he immediately returned call. Steve came the the next morning to check dryer and determine what needed to be done and the parts required. He was back on Monday morning with the parts and repaired my dryer. Working great now. Found him to be very professional and he definitely did a thorough job. He even went out of his way to double check the outside vent to make sure it was working properly after the repairs. Would not hesitate to call him for any future appliance repairs.

I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience - Steve was responsive, I was able to make an appointment quickly, he called to confirm before my appointment, showed up on time, and fixed my ancient refrigerator! He's very honest and straightforward, and tried a test first to make sure that replacing the fan motor would not be a waste of my money. This meant he needed to come back a second day, but only charged me for one visit. I would highly recommend Steve for any appliance repair!
