Fix Electric

Went very badly. After he installed the new electrical panel he failed to reconnect the generator. He kept postponing the other parts of the project claiming that he was waiting for a permit (PSEG doesn't give permits as I learned). He falsely claimed that some of the wires of an overhead fixture were burned and asked for $8500 to fix them. I had already paid $3500 for the panel, $4000 for the outside rewiring, and $3000 for the new meter box which was never put on. I finally asked another electrician to take a look at the work and he said that the panel was a totally botched job which also threatened a fire. I will now have to put on another electrical panel. Fix electric never showed me an electrician's license (I didn't initially ask for one since I assumed that Angi would list an electrician who didn't have a license, and he never gave me an invoice for the work. His name is Abdul Sheikh.

He was supposed to install a dryer electrical outlet but never completed and did not complete because it did not work and asked for more money to fix the electrical meter which they did not fix. He has different names and different phone numbers. He asked for an $1800 deposit and never came back to complete work. He said he doesn t do contracts, and asked me To Zelle him the payment. I trusted he would do the work and he did not and never came back. As such he is committing a crime, and I intend to report him to the state attorney general. I need as much information as possible on top of the information I have.
