Arnoldo's Tree Service

We initially called Arnoldo’s telephone number as listed on Angie’s List and left a message with an Angie’s List operator. No one ever returned our call. So we googled Arnoldo’s, called their direct number and spoke to a young woman who made an appointment for us the following week. A couple of times prior to the appointment we called Arnoldo’s to confirm, but no one answered or returned our calls. No one showed up for the appointment on the scheduled day – we waited all day. Called once more to ask what had happened, but again no answer, and there has been no return call or apology in the three weeks since the appointment.

I did not receive a reply.

They never contacted me for over 3 weeks, I contacted another company who completed the job . Your recommendation finally contacted me but after the job was completed. The coy that did my job was fantastic.

When a large oak tree fell on Sunday morning taking down a second oak tree and damaging the roof of my home, Arnoldo provided the prompt and able service I needed. He came to my home that afternoon to assess the job. Early Monday morning Arnoldo's crew showed up with the necessary people and equipment to successfully remove the fallen trees from both the house and property. The work and clean-up was completed that afternoon: A prompt and able job in all respects.

They never even called us to say they could not do the job. a call would have been nice.

Contract dated 3-28-18 specified tree removal, grinding, branch removal and clean up. During removal of the tree, a bullnose granite wall cap was broken and the area surrounding the tree trunk was levelled using sawdust. Arnoldo's was apologetic about the broken cap, promising to make repairs. He then said that he would not grind out the stump for fear of causing additional damage. At this point I had given him $3,000 cash (a mistake on my part). Rather than refunding the money for stump grinding, he said he would have to build a ramp to get the stump grinder to the tree. To this date, the stump remains and 5 phone calls were not answered although I spoke with his daughter who answers the phone for his business. No other avenue for a reasonable conclusion of our business, short of legal action, is available to me other than inform Angie's list of Arnoldo's lack of professionalism. I am very surprised since reviews were very good. I requested a refund of $1,000 to cover the cost of stump removal, removal and leveling the area surrounding the tree and repairing the granite wall cap (Arnoldo provided a new piece of granite) which I preferred to have the wall cap cut and reset privately.

ONLY PAY BY CREDIT CARD! This way you can hold them accountable. They split a hose on my sprinkler system, they said they would fix it and it's been over a month and nothing has been fixed. I had made them aware of the sprinkler system around the trees and they said it would not be a problem. It took over two weeks to get them back to review the damage and they only came back because my husband called and yelled. It's now been a month since they removed the trees and they have not contacted me to fix the damage. They seemed like nice people but proved to be a disappointment.

I sent two emails on the company website and never received a response. No one called me back either through Angies List.

Excellent!!!!! I cannot be happier with the job Arnaldo Tree Service provided. Jasmin was on site the entire time, she addressed any concerns I had before hand and the crew is second to none. They were punctual, professional, kind, well mannered and very hard working. They were very careful with my neighbors' properties and made sure that all the surrounding backyards were fully cleaned by the time they left. I had three very large trees in my back yard. A tougher job considering there was no access to the yard only through the house. It made their work even more difficult but they were organized and well prepared. I cannot stress enough how unbelievable this crew was. I wish all services were at the quality as Arnaldo Tree Services. I would hire them again in a heart beat. My back yard had old rotted mattresses, old plastic containers etc.. the back yard was touched in about 30 years. This crew created a miracle with the work performed. I would rate them A+++++++++ Everything went very smoothly and the job was very well done.

This was a major job. Huge, as well as smaller trees. The service was exceptional. They arrived on time. The workers were fast and professional and extremely careful, neat and clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

Arnoldo's Tree Service is the best company for removing and /or trimming trees. They are very professional, punctual efficient. Also they have the best prices. My quote was way below others. They arrived about 25 minutes early. I would like to thank Veronica and her crew of 5 men. They cleaned up all of the debris. A neighbor saw what a great job they were doing that they hired Arnoldo's Tree Service on the spot for tree trimming. Many Thanks. Highly recommended.

Great!! He came same day I called, after his work was done. Gave a fair estimate & came back an hour later & did the job. Couldn't ask for more!

They were a little slow in the process but they did a very good job. They were $250 cheaper than the other guy. I'm a tough grader. It took a little time for them to get it all together and schedule it.

I felt the estimate was reasonable. The work was well done. They cleaned up well and were here when they said they would be here. I would rate them highly and use them again.

Excellent. Arnoldo came promptly after my call to give me an estimate of the cost. The work was done the next day on Saturday. Yard was thoroughly cleaned of all the weeds, bushes were trimmed down considerably and low tree branches were trimmed back. All debris was cleaned up and carted away. There was a crew of four workers who did a great job, were professional and responded to my requests during the cleanup. The job was also done quickly as well and took less time than anticipated. I am very happy with the service rendered and definitely will use Arnoldo's in the future.
