We signed a contract for painting the house this past spring 2010. Two guys that Rich Trinkl (owner of Perrys Painting and Cabinetry) subcontracted to do the job showed up, started the job and then abandoned it before it was completed (we had paid in full 4,500 to date - the total contract was for $5,500 to be paid upon completion). Rich Trinkl, the owner with whom we signed the contract, called back after weeks of what must have been at least 20 calls and messages, said he had been sick and would be back the next week to finish the job. He never showed up again nor returned a single call after another month of messages. We had to hire another painter to finish the job (and correct the errors from the previous painters like storms installed upside down, windows painted shut and nail heads rusting through, which ended up costing us 30% more than our original contract. I'm an architect and I know what I'm talking about - do not hire Perry's Painting to ever do anything for you - they are the most unprofessional and dishonest business with whom I have ever dealt.
