First , I am very picky about any work being done on my home because I do almost all my work on my home myself. Communication was a little rough at first , which I attributed towards his company being very busy. But when all was said and done, he started the job when he said he was going to start , and finished before contract deadline, and in a timely fashion. His pricing was actually one of the best price quotes we received, so we added on some additional work. We are very satisfied with the workmanship. They are experienced masons with a good eye for design also. Couldn't be happier with the results!! Thank you Carlos!!

contractor is concerned that work meet standards in field and doesn't take short cuts.

I called Radical Masonry and left a message. I had wanted an estimate on installing pavers.  They were working two houses away from me. No one bothered to return my call or stop by.

I was a little skeptical about hiring Carlos, the owner of Radical Masonry at first.  He did not speak English very well and I felt his estimate was kind of on the low side for the kind of work I wanted (2nd lowest out of 6) and his written proposal seamed to lack high end professional look,  however I went with my gut feeling and I am VERY HAPPY I did.
Why do I like them and why they are the best.  Here are some the following reasons.
1.  They did not have any cost overruns and they did not charge extra for changes or minor extra wok.  They fixed damage other contractors caused.
2. Carlos listen to us and asked us what we wanted.  He gave suggestions and ask for feedback from us.  He did not start or do any work until he understood what we wanted.
3.  He made suggestions during the job that improved appearance and quality which he seemed very concerned about.  He did not appear to chase after cost savings for his company.
4.  He has excellent equipment and his workers us it very professionally.
5.  Nothing has cracked or buckled or since he did the job for us.
6.  They did the job fast and efficiently and only stopped due to bad weather.
7.  They worked clean and did not leave any mess after the job was finished.
8.  I have gotten endless positive comments from family, friends and neighbors who have seen their work.  It is just simply stunning.
9.  The work is precise and they have the ability to do complex designee in the driveway patterns.  Carlos seems to bo obsessed with very straight lines.
10.  The paver work in the back of my house was done in a random pattern and it does look random to me without looking too simple or too complex.
I do not know what else to say.  Please come to the front of my home and see what kind of excellent work they did.  Trust me, higher RADICAL MASONRY AND YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID.

Everything was done to my satisfaction.  They removed the old driveway with minimal damage to surrounding areas.  The new driveway was poured and set smoothly and the cleanup was nicely done.

Carlos Rivera  came to our home in July of 2011 to give us and estimate redo our driveway, garage floor, and back patio.  I had used him in 2010 to replace our front stoop and walkway.  He gives you a start day and a completion day, as long as there are no weather related problems my work has always been completed on time.

He communicates with you and keeps you up to date on the progress of your job. He shows up early everyday alongside his crew and gets them going, he even stays to work if he is needed.   His crew is professional, respectful, and hardworking, they even clean up at the end of each day.

I have many neighbors in my area that have complimented me on the work that he has done.  I will never use another Mason as long as Radical Masonry & Design, Inc. and Carlos Rivera are around.   I would definitely recommend him and his company.
