Sod Installation
I used Mozilla Landscaping for sod installation in my front yard and part of my backyard.à  à  He did show up when he said he would and finished the job on time, however, I was not happy with the all the work.à  à  I noticed that the sod was browning in areas after a couple of days and saw issues with the installation which I went back and fixed myself. I did adhere to the strict watering schedule, so I know these issues were not from under watering.à  à  à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Sod edges next to each other were not touching the soil in many of the areas and in spots overlapping other pieces. à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Areas were turning brown, under which weeds were left. à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Areas that had large 2 inch wide roots that sod was thrown over which I was not told about. à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Areas were not trimmed around posts. à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Old debris and weeds thrown under bushes instead of hauling all away. à ·à  à  à  à  à  à  à  Soil under the sod was not leveled and in areas sunken in. à  Because I spent hours fixing these issues myself my lawn looks good now, but I should not have had to do this.à  à  I would NOT recommend this company to install sod.

"During the whole installation the homeowner repeatedly came outside peeling back the the rolls of sod, areas that were not level were left alone for the correct reasons, there was only one post in the middle of the yard that was positively cut around precisely. The Sod may brown slightly in tiny spots, as each roll is not perfect. We were made aware of weeds that were left along edges via a phone call. Went to follow-up in person and was shown exactly one weed with 3 leafs attached to it on the edge of the sidewalk(over exaggerated complaint) we agreed to remove surface 2 roots from the front lawn and 1 from the side yard, which was."

He told me he would take the garbage with him and then didnâ t. Then he left Me with big bags of garbage that were so heavy the garbage men refused to take them. SO, I had to go out and divide the garbage into smaller bags. This might not seem like a big deal BUT I have had back surgery and a total knee replacement. So, Iâ m out there trying to do this - alone. I was not Thrilled.

"We were there to perform a leaf cleanup only, not to remove copious amounts of litter, old lawn furniture, and household garbage, and navigate around vast piles of pet feces. The scope of work changed and you were made aware of it. Thus, the bags left you approved of. We don't bag our debris we did so because of the vast amount of garbage we collected while gathering the leaves. You were made aware of all of these things."

Jonathan was very professional. He was able to take away a massive limb that had fallen on the property during the recent wind storm and left the property with no signs of a fallen tree branch. He came when expected and his price was fair. Would definitely recommend him to others.

Rated 4.5 only because this is the first year I'm using them. Only had spring cleanup/treatment and one cut, still early in the season, waiting to see how my grass looks in the summer months. So far I'm very much satisfied with this Mowzilla and would recommend them.

Leaves left in the window wells. Also cleared away one spent hosta but left all the spent hosta along the fence. Lawn was cut way too short. I know I do not have the best lawn but shaving it does not help. I wish he was as interested in doing a good job as he was in getting paid. Four invoices sent!
