I can’t say enough AMAZING things about MILRO! My family experienced a burst pipe that started in our upstairs bathroom, and destroyed the ceiling in our dining room. What a disaster! We had no ceiling, and our carpeting had to be replaced, along with so many personal belongings that were ruined! I was only visiting at the time this had occurred, since I live out-of-state. My 85 year-old mother had to deal with this mess! Kevin immediately called and set up an appointment! He was so kind! He and his team started work very quickly, and did an OUTSTANDING job! All of the workers were respectful, professional, clean, and extremely kind to my mother, and Kevin went above and beyond, by helping my mom when she had trouble with other things, like her TV set! If you need work done on your house, Milro should be your first call! I am so grateful for their hard work and kindness! Our house is now going to be ready to sell!

They do not stand by their word. Was told I could keep temp oil tank free of charge if I gave them the job. Once temp tank was picked up I was billed $700.00. Spoke with a representative from Milro and was told there was nothing they could do. Also damaged my fence when they removed the temp oil tank.

Very nicely done! They were careful not to damage my property. Very nice people and easy to work with. They were great on price.

The home of a family member was converted to natural gas heat many years ago, but the underground oil tank was not properly abandoned from an environmental standpoint. We called Milro Services, Inc to address this issue. They promptly sent out a technician to assess the site and provided a written estimate for abandonment of the oil tank. After we paid a deposit, Milro obtained the required permit from the Nassau County Department of Health and within a month, they vacuumed out all of the residual oil, filled the tank with foam and removed and sealed the vent pipe. Milro provided us with a certificate of abandonment to prove that the tank was properly abandoned.

They started by pumping out the remaining oil that was left in the tank. After the tank was empty, they removed about 2 feet of dirt so they could get the the top of the tank and cut a 2' x 2' opening. They cleaned the inside of the tank, and after the tank was completely clearned, they filled in the tank with sand and sealed the opening with cement. When they were finished, they gave me a Suffolk County Certificate of Compliance. The job took about 3 hours to complete and they did a great job.

Went well.  Clean up was very good. Took away all debris.
They requested payment and submitted a proposal for the rebuild at the same time, BUT did not follow up or respond.
 So we would not use them again, nor refer them to anyone.

I would highly recommend them to anybody. They were excellent. The price was good. The person who sold it to us was exceptional right down from the guy who made the print section. They checked the area to see what has to be removed. They were absolutely wonderful.

The installer showed up at 10:00 AM and left at 3:00 PM. He said everything was working fine. At 7:00 PM, I realized I had no hot water or heat. I called the company and of course they were closed. I called the next morning, and they said it was the oil burner that wasn't working. I called my oil company and had them come. After spending 3 hours cleaning the oil burner and trying to get the burner to start, they said there was nothing wrong with the burner except it wasn't getting any oil. I called back Milro Associates and they said their installation was done properly and insisted it was the burner. My oil burner people had left and I was left for a second day with no heat or hot water. I called the oil burner people and told them my problem and they said they couldn't help me because they didn't install the new tank, but would come back and inspect the installation and see if they could see anything done incorrectly. They determined that the coupling around the valve for oil pipe on the new tank had a crack in it so it was only sucking air and not oil. They called Milro and explained the problem to them. They were again unresponsive. The oil burner man felt so sorry for us that he called his boss and explained the problem to him and asked if he could fix it so we would have heat and hot water. He said yes but we would be billed for the time. He fixed it in a hour, and even ordered the new proper part from the oil tank company and said he would come back in a few days to install it. We then had to spend hours working out the payment to Milro. It was a totally horrible experience. This company doesn't care about their customer. They didn't even come back when I had no heat or hot water.
