We began interviewing companies for estimates for upgrading and replacing our AC system. Elm AC was recommended, and owner Scott O got back to me immediately to schedule an appt. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that I had missed the appt. and called back to apologize and reschedule. Scott examined our home and system, and offered some interesting ideas for increasing circulation to better balance the temperature as it was much colder downstairs. We spoke to other companies, but ultimately chose Elm to replace our 3-ton outdoor compressor as Scott seemed very knowledgeable. Their estimate included everything we needed, including moving the electric disconnect box, and raising the unit on blocks, which made the price slightly higher. Other companies pitched us a lower number but then added on extra costs, or told us to contact another vendor to take care of it.
The day of installation went fairly smoothly, with the delivery crew, the electricians, and the installer all showing up early. I appreciated that Nick (Nicholas) did an especially neat and clean job. The Amana system is larger than our old Ruud compressor, but runs significantly quieter. That is good because we run the fan full time to circulate the air through the house and balance the temperature. I cannot comment fully on the unit because it's still new, or about service visits (aside from installation) because we haven't had any problems yet, but I am hopeful that we will receive prompt and attentive service from Elm AC for many years to come.

They installed a new air handler and compressor,my old system,also installed by them,18 years ago,had some serious repair issues. i have dealt with them for 18 years,with maintenance and checkups,have always been tyreated with courtesy,respect and top notch serice,the team that came yesterday,was prepared,knowledgeable and took extra care to not damge my home.very satisfied with the crew,installation...and never in my 80 yeras have so many nice young man,called me sir.

The entire experience from the discussions with the company rep Scott O, to the completion of the installation was excellent. The installers were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The Mitsubishi unit itself is an excellent product. Cools quickly, quietly, and is multifunctional. The installers Brian and Moses did the job in a courteous, knowledgeable and efficient manner. All stages of the job went smoothly. Functions of the unit and use of the remote were explained thoroughly and a booklet was provided that reinforces the information. Cleanup was excellently done. I am very pleased with the communication with Scot O choosing the product to be installed, getting questions answered as well as with the knowledgeable, courteous and efficient installers. I highly recommend Elm Air Conditioning.

Everything went great. I was impressed with Elm from our initial meeting through the installation of the units. Scott was very knowledgeable about product options and gave great recommendations for our house without going overboard. The price was competitive and Elm helped us obtain a permit. We've had a great experience with Elm. Another company installed a brand new system four years ago and everything was fine until last Fall when they did the annual checkup. Something happened - we don't know what - but after multiple visits they still couldn't get things to work right. The hottest day in the Spring we had no A/C. We were exasperated. When we called Elm for help, they came out the next work day and quickly got our A/C to work again. It was a larger project to get the heat and both thermostats functioning properly, but they stuck with it and we're very happy. Al worked very hard to get everything working, and Scott was like the clean-up hitter with the programming and wiring. What a great team!

All staff members we had contact with at Elm Air Conditioning were very polite. Installers worked efficiently and were well prepared for the task. Elm did a wonderful job. The price quoted was the best of three estimates received. The entire job from start to finish was seamless. The crew was prompt, efficient, courteous, and very clean. They answered all my questions clearly, and left the house spotless when they finished each day. I am impressed that they sent such a large crew to get the job done so quickly.
