John Hegarty of Ceramic Man was so helpful to us on two occasions. First was the kitchen tile and second was the bathroom tile. He was thorough and neat and both jobs came out looking like we had new tile installed. People that have seen it have complimented us on the jobs and said that it looked like new tile. I would recommend John to anyone who is looking to have their tile re-grouted or updated.

John and Al did a remarkable job and was extremely professional. John answered all my questions and if I called him - he would call me back promptly which was Great. They were very attentive to what I wanted done and to the details of the job. I would hire them again and certainly recommend them to any one else that needed work done.

John and Al did a great job installing the backsplash. I'll definitely refer them in the future.

The work went very well.  The shower was re-grouted neatly.  It was a long process and the work was done very well with a lot of attention to detail.
There was a little miscommunication about what would be done, which lead me to try another contractor for a different issue.  Comparing the two jobs, The Ceramic Man was the best, hands down.  He was very professional and understood the issue.  When I just had someone come to fix some other grout, they did a quick job and didn't see the point of re-grouting.  Having seen a leak go through my whole house because of my other shower, I thought differently. 
I would definitely use The Ceramic Man again.

The entire job took four days. John, Al and the sub contractors were hard workers and trustworthy. We were very happy with the final product, and would recommend highly.

We had a tub area in an upstairs bathroom that sometimes leaked onto the floor below. We weren't sure the caulk and grout were the problem. John explained what the problem was and described the solution. John's worker re-caulked, re-grouted, and added a bullnose tile along the top edge of the tub where it meets the tile wall. This work completely solved the problem.
John was quick to arrive for the estimate, punctual for the job, and his price was reasonable. The leak is gone!

I liked that he returned my call promptly. He came out when he said he would to give me an estimate. He came and did the work, and he was quick and efficient. So far, I don't have any problems. I thought the price was fair. When he finished the work, it seemed like one of the tiles was scratched, but maybe that was there, and I just hadn't noticed it.  I would use him again, and I would check things to make sure I don't have the doubt in my mind.

The job went great. I was redoing a job that another contract messed up. I had to take up the floor and put a mud floor and new tiles. John did a great job.

after interviewing many contractors for this job, I didn't look any further after meeting with John and quot;The Ceramic Manand quot;! He gave me a fair and wonderful price to gut my entire bathroom and remodel it .I felt secure that the job would be done the best he can do and my very first impression after meeting with him and hearing all of his ideas made me feel so sure and happy that it would be a job well done and have no worry , or even need to interview anyone else. Everyone he has working with him, are all so pleasant, neat and just get the job done fast and great! I never saw any construction, and I had plenty done in 2 homes I have owned, done so fast and to complete an entire bathroom that was gutted down to nothing! From his electrician, and plumber and helpers, and especially all the tile work and fabulous design work that John had done: you can tell that John knew exactly what he was doing and that he has done this for years and years with a wonderful and completely finished job and in such a short amount of time. He answered all my questions and was extremely nice and pleasant during the entire week he was at my home. Every thing was left so neatly as this is usually a messy type of job to do. Everything installed in my bathroom was 100 percent with a gorgeous new look that I could not believe my eyes! I told him I will definately call him with any future construction jobs that I need done. I didn't have one complaint about anything he has done because everything came out so perfect and beautiful! Work is excellent, clean and on time. Very easy to work with John, always returns calls and is very helpful with all aspects of the job.

John showed returned my call and showed up quickly to give an estimate. He arranged to be back later that day, and when the plumber did not show up for two days he was flexible about changing his plans.
He brought Al, who actually did the work while John left for another job. Al worked steadily, and did not stop until the job was done, well after 7 PM.
The stall looks fantastic now, and John's quick and flexible response let us have our only shower back as quickly as the grout could cure.

John Hagerty, the Ceramic Man, was punctual during all our appointments, and arrived on the first day on time, with his crew and all their equipment. John was courteous and fully cooperative in details of understanding my concerns about maintaining normal functions of my household. The plumber did his work efficiently and without problems. I was impressed with the high degree of experience of the specialist, the tile installer and his attention to fine detail. I can verify that all my expectations were realized. My granddaughter, an interior designer, helped select the proper tile at Nemo Tile, who were also helpful in that respect. I purchased the tile at Nemo, and the shower fixtures at Home Depot.The entire job was completed in less than the 2 days estimated. All the elements of the job came together with full satisfaction and I recommend the Ceramic Man without reservations.

He was good. He did a thorough job. It looked new when he finished. When I looked at it, it was like I had it redone. His price was far. His quality was great. He responded to me right away. I called him on a Monday and he called me back the next day. His punctuality was excellent. His professionalism was very good.
