SAL'S PLUMBING & HEATING CO

We use Sal.  He's done most of our heating/plumbing.  One of his issues is he's a small company.  It's him and one other guy.  So they back-log really fast. So sometimes it's a little hard getting a hold of him, but he does respond to us.  Sometimes it does take a day or two unless we say it's an emergency.  We moved in, in October and the hot water heater went out right away.  We were going to have one put in and he suggested we look at the on-demand.  It was a little more expensive, but it was gas.  The heater itself because it's an on-demand because of the time, and it will probably be the last one we ever put in unless we're around another 50 years.  And the parts are changeable. Plus we had insurance that helped with the cost. Quality of work is excellent.  Responsiveness depends on how much of an emergency it is.  If I said I had a pipe break he'd be right here, but if I needed to change a toilet it may take awhile.  We plan to use call him again soon.  He took over the business from his father.  His father use to service us.  It was a little complicated because number one, it was raining and it's in a crawl space.  It was done the same day, let's put it that way. I would give him in an A considering all the factors involved.  He had to change from electric to gas, he took everything away, he cleaned up after himself.  There were no problems at all.

We have used them for years and years.  The last service was wonderful.  The response time is very fast.  We have been using them for years so when we call them they come the next day.  When we started using them it was the father then when he got old he transferred the business to his son who is equally good as his father.   

We did not compare prices but we thought that they were reasonable.

Stay away from these guys, they charge way too much for their services. After speaking with other plumbers in the area, I realized too late that I made a HUGE mistake in ever contacting Sal Manzo Plumbing and Heating. Local plumbers explained to repair a leaky faucet and a running toilet should be billed at $250 at max, instead of $630 that Sal Manzo Plumbing and Heating charged me. Learn from my error and do yourself a favor, always get a second or third estimate before hiring a contractor, especially a plumber.

Excellent service as always. I have used Sal for many jobs in the past and all were done with great care at reasonable prices.
He had to repair many items done by other plumbers hired by general contractors. He is a gem.

Sal evaluated problem, gave a very reasonable price and fixed the problem. While he was there he also fixed the drip in the sink and constantly running toilet. Excellent service
