It seemed like he wanted to do a quick job and make a certain amount of money without having to work extensively with his client. This was a custom fence build that required good materials and a good design. He didn't appear interested in making sure both were in place. He didn't offer anything, I had to arrange everything and design it myself. I don't think he was qualified for this project, he was unwilling to answer questions and give recommendations. There was something of a language barrier, but he just blew it all off and left after 15 minutes of serious discussion about the needed materials on the actual day the job was supposed to start. It was pouring rain at the time, we had arranged to go to the store and purchase what we needed, as the other materials he had previously brought were not of the best quality.
