Horrible, do not believe or trust Shawn Putnams word. After getting a few quotes, I decided to use Shawn, initially good communication, fair price, written contract, on time for estimate and was knowledgeable. Also, says he is a veteran with over 20 years experience. He is a crook, he is a poor manager and business owner. Not sure what he would tell his sister, wife or daughter to do if someone did what he did to me. He is a yes man, over promises, does not clean up, does not deliver as he says. He and his team are terrible, they are hot heads, walking off the job, they stole from me, none of the work is 100% completed, they only work about three hours although are there for about six hours, they constantly take breaks, smoke cigarettes and leave the butts anywhere, they do not care about your home, left it dirty, did not put plastic down to walk on. He made a mess of my house. Signed a contract to pay me back since work is not done and what was done is faulty

Showed up sporadically only worked half days, took 4-5 days to do a 1 day job and they left me with unfinished finished work and trash removal.

This is my 2nd time hiring Shawn Putnam to do flooring based on the quality of his work. It was a huge project - 600 sf of hardwood floors and 35 sq yds of carpet. The quality of the work was excellent. The quarter round trim for the flooring sets it off perfectly. He listened to my needs and concerns and did everything as I wanted; he had to go to 3 Home Depot stores to find the right shade of quarter round. It was well worth it. He and his crew moved furniture and appliances and removed all debris when finished. The floors look absolutely gorgeous!

Mr Putnam owns/operates and does the work. Local family company that gets it. He showed up when he said he would, always picked up the phone, answered my questions, detailed the job, performed quality work and was respectful of my home and family. Floors look great! I will hire Mr. Putnam again to do my first floor install in the near future and would recommend him to anyone looking for a solid local trustworthy business that will charge a fair price and stand behind their work.

The guys were great and would not hesitate having them do future floor installation.

Installed laminate flooring in our dining room. We had previously purchased the flooring. Pros: The floor was installed correctly and looks great. No noise when walked on. Cons: Advised on write up of job we only had the flooring and no other required materials. Assumed price quoted included required materials. Upon completion of the job, I was asked to pay an extra $90 for the padding. It was late, I was tired so I just paid it. Felt like I was bumped. Wrote this up as experience and will ask for more a detailed estimate prior to hiring.

Came on date and time to do the job which took a few days to do as expected. Needed more parts that I said I would get. Was told by them that they have a really big job coming up and if I didn't mind waiting till that was completed, they would come back and finish my job then. I agreed. I have attempted to contact them to arrange a date for them to come back now and finish the job they started and were paid for, but so far they haven't and the correspondence via text is sporadic on their part. Also, when I call, I always get sent to voice mail but never get a return call.

Their quality of work, professionalism, time response are the ones I always wat to use them.

The owner was great and seemed to know what I wanted. The installers were not well informed. I recommend hiring them, but be very specific, in writing, what you want done. The owner was tied up elsewhere, but did come and see that the job was completed. I had hoped that the floor in this 1840's home would be leveled along with the carpet installation, but did not happen. I believe they did the best they could, given the age and condition of the floor, at a good price. I expect to use them again at some time in the future.

Shawn did a great job and went above and beyond for us after we were left with a room not complete w flooring, they came punctual, honest with prices I will definitely hired them again.

Shawn and his team showed up when he told me he would be there and was very accommodating with scheduling needs that we had. They worked carefully and picked up everyday so that we would not walk into a mess when we arrived home. Their quality of installation was great and I will use him for any future flooring needs that I may have.

From start to finish, excellence in installing our wood flooring. Project was started on time, done quickly and looks perfect. And construction was cleaned up like it never happened! The owner was very nice and accommodating as well as his hard working crew! Thank you!

The company does good work but they need to do one job at a time and they are slow on cleaning up the job and remove the waste from the job site.
