This company is highly corrupt; run away! They bully and extort their co-op unit owners, and are just plain rude and nasty in the process. I was a sublessor in a building that collected a $500 move-out deposit from me, ostensibly to cover possible damages to an elevator. After my move, the super inspected the elevator and found no damage ? then refused to return the check and someone cashed it before I could issue a stop payment. When I inquired as to the reason, the very rude manager claimed this was the building's policy (to "cash the check and then refund you," even though she'd collected the check claiming the opposite) and then hung up on me when I protested. In addition, the building was horribly maintained, filled with roaches and constantly broken plumbing, despite seemingly constant capital "improvements." These people should be put out of business.
