Absolutely worst possible mason/general contractor to hire. Owner Lenny came out to give quote for work, I showed him all the areas that needed to be pointed, all the broken bricks that needed to be replaced and was clear what I was requested to be done. He assured me EVERYTHING would be fixed/replaced as discussed. After he was paid 50% deposit, all of a sudden he had amnesia and started cutting corners, refusing to replace the broken bricks saying “that’s a lot of work” - well he was charging ALOT of $$$ because it was based on that work. His men put holes in my deck with their scaffolding, stole pieces of my pool equipment, didn’t even brick point most of the areas that I hired him to do because water was coming in my house, they used standard concrete mix which color was COMPLETELY different than my existing concrete joints instead of using dye mix to try and get close match to mortar like he said they would. The entire job was a nightmare, did more damage than he did work, impossible to try and discuss any issues with he would just make excuses or ignore me but certainly never forgot to ask about $$$. When I told him I was going to stop payment on his final check unless he brings back the pool piece his men STOLE that I have proof of on my home security camera video, he said he would but instead brings back and installed a completely different, cheap, non working water valve that he left leaking all over property so I stopped payment on his check and he had nerve to file mechanics lien when he did 10 times the cost in damage to my home. I am now suing him in court for all the damage he did to my deck, pool and for the work he did not do as per our contract. STAY AWAY FROM THIIS CONTRACTOR I will gladly provide picture and videos of proof of the horrible work and damage he did to anyone considering hiring this man I am also filing complaints with the licensing board as he should have his licensed REVOKED

This review is to help fellow Home owners not make the same mistake we did by hiring Lenny's General Contracting Inc. It is through my horrific experience that I can confidently say you will not get your hard earned money's worth. Lenny's General Contracting Inc. was hired last spring 2020 for brick pointing work, lay a cement walkway, and apply stucco to the exterior foundation of the house. Before Lenny Iaffaldano, owner of the company, began the work , we told him that if he couldn't do the job to a satisfactory level he should not accept the projects. His response was that he had been in the business for decades and not to worry. We reiterated our statement numerous times and he reassured us that we were going to be happy. In addition, to sweeten the deal Lenny used a bait and hook technique by offering to repair a crack in the kitchen ceiling for free on the condition we would hire him to do the exterior work to the house. The first day on the job Lenny's men caused a fire in my kitchen, broke the storm door's window and chipped bricks as they were removing the old mortar surrounding the bricks. We should have kicked them all out of my house. Frank, Lenny's son was extremely apologetic and offered to repair and replace everything. Frank promised to replace the kitchen floor which was damaged by the fire as well as the chipped bricks, which he did not do. In addition, when Lenny came over to my house to view the damages caused by his men he accused us of having ruined the kitchen counter. Please note that Lenny nor his son Frank were on the premises when the fire occurred. Throughout the job, Lenny's employees were rarely supervised. We expressed our concerns and unhappiness to both Lenny and his son Frank. Lenny refused to correct the errors and poor job his workers did. When asked if he would want the same brick point work to be done to his house he paused and didn't answer my question. At another time, Lenny made an appointment with us to discuss the issues. However he chose not to show up stating he had forgotten because he was at another job pouring cement. Days passed and we didn't see or hear Frank or Lenny. Both Frank and Lenny abandoned the job, leaving the wood to an unfinished brick exterior wall and the foundation exposed to the elements which led to water damage in our basement. One side of the house was dug up where the cement walkway was to be placed. However, the work was abandoned causing puddles of mud next to the foundation wall when it rained. In addition to the numerous bricks being chipped, the pointing work Lenny's General Contracting did left gaps between the bricks and the mortar. They used two different colors for the mortar. One brick wall has a very dark mortar in comparison to the other brick wall. It is obvious brick pointing is not their skill. We then hired Fabio's Masonry to repair and complete the job that Lenny's contracting abandoned. We were pleased with his work and appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

The workers showed up every day and cleaned up at the end of the job. The driveway looks good and had a quality finish.

They worked very well, he had very good employees who worked long and hard. Very accommodating, and the outcome is very good.

The owner personally assessed what was required and provided the estimate. The job was completed when promised and as promised and a reasonable price.

They came in on time, and they did an excellent job- no leaks so far. The only slight quibble I have is that they never gave me the paperwork for the job. It's not that big a deal, but I feel that I should've gotten the work order and receipt and all that.

Frank Iaffaldano and his father Lenny are the ultimate professionals. I have been using them for the past 20 years and have always been very satisfied. They did outstanding work replacing the cement steps and platforms outside my home. They were prompt, courteous, and thorough. Because of their high standards, many times they will add work that was not in the contract. They cleaned up daily and were meticulous with every detail. I highly recommend this contractor.

Went really well. Accurate estimate of cost (no surprises like with some others), accurate estimate of start and finish dates (again, a real pleasure that is not always available), nice work and great crew. Totally satisfied.

Awful. He charged top dollar and used a so-called "commercial finish" that I thought had been an act of vandalism. The waterproofing part did not work. When we have a heavy storm the water seeps through the foundation. He came back the first time, looked at it, told us he'd came back and that's the last we saw of him. I contacted his office by phone and e-mail and never got a response.
