+ -1 moreThe original estimate was $922 which was based on me going through my house and telling the woman on the phone about my possessions. What they did not tell me was that each additional cubing foot would cost me $2.15 and that they would let me know how many additional CF there were only after everything had been loaded onto the truck! Result: almost double the price! Then the next day, after I had spent the night at a hotel at my destination to be ready to receive my stuff, I called Genesis only to find out that their truck had "broken down" and they were not sure "WHAT DAY" they were going to deliver! At this juncture, I was also told that what they had promised was not next day delivery but rather "delivery within the next 3 days" which was news to me!
Description of Work: The plan was to move across states. They were going to pick up on Thursday and delive ron Friday. In all fairness, the moving crew was EXCELLENT. Punctual, responsive, careful, polite, just wonderful. Can't say the same about the company and its policies. Read on...
