ANGELO FUEL OIL SERVICE

I read some of the reviews on Angie's List and decided to call Angelo's because they had only a few reviews and they were all solid.  I was hoping to find a local small business and Angelo's was it.  From Maria who answered the phone and scheduled things to Nick who came out and did the work, they made me feel like I was their only customer while being very professional, fair and friendly.  My boiler went out but it wasn't freezing so I didn't consider it an emergency, I just wanted someone to come out eventually.  I called and said my boiler was out.  Maria told me she would check with the mechanic for availability and would call me back to set up an appointment.  When she called me back a little while later she said they could come out the same day, which they did, couple of hours later.  Nick arrived and assessed the boiler, quickly figured out what was wrong with it, and had all the parts on hand to make the repairs.  Nick answered all my questions and explained how at least part of the problem was because the boiler wasn't being regularly serviced, which I knew was true.  Overall, I'm very pleased with the price and level of service Angelo's provided.  Also, they were nice people.

My oil burner unexpectedly stopped working on a summer night. It provides hot water for everyone in the building and is an emergency to get back up and running. I called a dozen plumbers and boiler specialists on Angie's list, NO ONE called me back after a day despite the urgency, others told me if I didn't have a contract they will not help me at all and one of them told me it would be $600 for the 1st hour of service and even the guy I contracted to replace my oil boiler to gas left me hanging with no help.
I thought I exhausted all my options and then I somehow must've searched on Angie's list using a different keyword and I run into Angelo's fuel oil service. It was already the next day on a Saturday morning, around 8am and wasn't expecting anyone to call me back, but I left a message anyway and I was floored when 30 minutes later they call me back. I was even more floored when they told me that someone would come in 1 hour.
The guy shows up in 1hour as promised, they found the problem, fixed it asap and THEN they didn't rip me off like most of the other plumbers I've come across before. I'm very grateful I ran into these guys and will certainly be using them going forward. I'm pretty critical and have used A LOT of plumbers and heating companies in the past, I do hope anyone looking for a boiler specialist will call this company first because they deserve it for their honesty and responsiveness.

Our oil burner stopped working on one of the coldest nights of the year at 1:30am. There are few oil burner repair companies and even fewer that do not require an oil service contract (which we did not have). However, once I located Angelo's on Angie's List I called at 3:30am they called back at 4:00am and informed me a repairman would arrive by 6:00am which he did. The repairman began promptly and repaired and serviced the boiler in approximately one hour. He pointed out a few issues that he fixed and recommended a yearly service which we had neglected. Great job on short notice, I appreciate the responsiveness and attention to detail.

THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL and HELPFUL WITH THE MAINTENANCE OF THE HEATING SYSTEM. THE WORK IS DONE ON TIME and THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE.
