Called in the morning scheduled visit. Asked what the prices would be. 15.00 just to visit and 19.00+ for each rekey. In the end the price ended up being 395.00 for 7 locks to be rekeyed. 4 dead bolts and 3 door knobs This was WAY above what I was told on the phone. To the tune of Twice what was mentioned on the phone. Gouging does not even come close to how I felt. My wife was not happy either. In the end she did not understand why the locksmith would not deliver based on the minimum charge. The locksmith just too the 15 and left. I did get phone calls three times from the supervisor. I also tried to contact my wife about this. Was unable to reach her. The supervisor did try to lower the price but still did not come anywhere near the price originally mentioned in the morning. 7 x 19.00 is 133.00 + 15 for visit is 148.00. This is all time and materials. Yes there would have been 4 keys @ 2.00 each. Another 8.00. So out the door it would have been 156.00. But Minimum 300.00. That is Double what is on the website. This makes me wonder if they ever give the lower price to anyone and if that price is there as a hook only. Add to this the people are Headquartered in New York City. This was NOT a good experience.
