Description of Work: Michael Moloney was excellent. He did a beautiful job refinishing our wood floors, and was a pleasure to work with - professional, responsive, and thorough. I would use him again or refer him to friends without hesitation.

 + 0 moreHe did an incredible job and completed the work in the short window we had before moving in. The new wood matches almost perfectly to the old and he was able to make the pine absorb stain effectively (apparently an issue with pine). When we get around to upgrading the floors in the rest of the house, we will definitely, definitely use Architectural Wood Flooring again.
Description of Work: Michael Maloney and his team cleaned, sanded and refinished floors in our new home in Brooklyn -- the floors were in serious disrepair and we wanted them fixed before moving in. Floors were damaged in two areas and he replaced the wood there.

 + 0 moreMichael Moloney did an excellent job both of matching the existing floor and installing the new floor. In addition, he did a terrific job of installing the crown molding. An example of his wonderful workmanship is that they walked some of the molding up 19 flights because it did not fit into the elevator and he did not want to create a seam by cutting it. Mr. Moloney oversaw the work very closely and was a pleasure to work with. Part of the job consisted of repairing the floor in a sunroom. At first Mr. Moloney thought he could salvage the existing floor. However, as he got into it, he determined that the floor had to be replaced. He was absolutely correct. The floor had to be leveled and secured and he did a great job. Mr. Moloney is straightforward and honest and I recommend him very highly.
Description of Work: After a flood, I had new wood floors installed throughout my apartment. A small portion of the floor was not replaced and had to be matched and new crown molding had to be installed.
