The Tinderbox

We were informed that all service calls have a two hour window (which seems fair).  The workers showed up in the earliest part of the window, however.  They were very polite, answered all my questions, left the place completely spotless and worked quickly.  Would absolutely recommend and plan to use them again.

Work was excellent and very professionally done. Because of the way our piping was installed in our house, it was extremely difficult to clean. Where other cleaners had only done a half job, Timberbox made sure that the entire pipe was cleaned. They cleaned from both the roof down and from the stove up insuring that the pipe was completely clean. I will definitely recommend them, and will be contacting them again next year for a cleaning.

The team showed up on time and swept the chimney. They answered all my questions and advised me on how to use my (new to me) fireplace. When I asked about wood burning stove inserts the contractor took measurements so that I can follow up with an estimate. They were very courteous, worked quickly and left the house spotless.

Kasey and his assistant placed sheets on the floor from our front door to our chimney. He was on our roof before I had time to worry about his safety, especially with the snow. He confirmed that our flue was open and left it that way. They brought in a large vacuum with chimney brushes and swept the chimney. They examined the interior of the chimney and reported that they removed 2+ galleons of soot. (The chimney hadn't been cleaned in ~8 years.) He recommended that this service be performed annually. Our living room, where the fire place is located, was very clean after their work. The Tinderbox is CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certified.
