If you want a professional company to look after your pool - this is not the company to use. Asked to have my pool opened - the lost the email. Finally opened it but didnt ensure the pool pump was running - two weeks later the pool is still green. Says they had no idea that the home was vacant (despite the For Sale sign in the front yard and empty house). Nicole now understood the house was vacant and said she would send someone over. The pool never cleared up and instead of following up an proposing moving to a different program (she said the current one would not work), they let the two more weeks go by. They had every opportunity to sell me what ever it took to make the pool look descent but failed. The relationship ended with Nicole yelling at me on the phone. If you are looking for a pool company with ZERO customer service and the inability to open a pool WITHOUT your help, this company is for you. What a disaster...

"4/17/19: [Member Name Removed] of Gleneagles Leasing receives Maintenance Agreement from Fishkill Pools. 6/3/19: [Member Name Removed] sends back the agreement. 6/3/19: Nicole contacts [Member Name Removed] and an opening date & service every 2 weeks was agreed upon; there was no mention of the house being vacant. 6/6/19: The email sent to [Member Name Removed] to confirm conversation was caught in the outbox, thus a note of apology and the email were sent; There was no lost email. 6/11/19: pool was opened 6/[Member Information Removed]/19: FPI received a call and picture from [Member Name Removed]; the pool was turning green and needed attention. [Member Name Removed] was asked what has been done since the opening. He stated nothing because no one was living there. Nicole told [Member Name Removed], FPI was not aware of this and someone needed to be maintaining the pool in between our visits; if that couldn’t happen, more maintenance was going to be needed. The customer insisted every 2 weeks worked well last year let’[Member Information Removed] see how it goes. FPI did not agree knowing full well an unattended pool for two weeks does not work, but [Member Name Removed] stated that someone would be checking on the pool as indicated by the picture sent. 6/25/19: FPI attended to the pool. 7/5/19: FPI contacted [Member Name Removed] for updated information. [Member Name Removed] was demeaning and irate from the moment he answered blaming FPI for the darkening of the pool. [Member Name Removed] was so obviously upset, the sales associate immediately put the manager on the phone. Nicole asked what was happening and an angry customer responded blaming FPI for the darkening green. Nicole reiterated the above conversations to [Member Name Removed], making [Member Name Removed] only angrier. However, in his anger it is revealed that a circuit breaker blew and the filter had been off prompting Nicole to explain again the pool needs to be regularly checked on. This is when the customer accused FPI of not putting a plan in front of him; I refer you to April 17 and June 3 above. At this time, Nicole informs [Member Name Removed] in a raised voice manner, FPI does not go to the hundreds of customers we serve to check on their pool every day. FPI was fired, [Member Name Removed] said this pool was no longer our worry."

I had to be specific as to what I wanted and watch as they worked to ensure we would get what we needed. It took two service calls to get the job done. Our pool was in rough shape. But a deduction was applied to our bill for the second service call due to a lack of proper vacuuming. We do have a old/weak filter which tried the patience of two pool cleaners. They were pleasant to talk to. Seemed knowledgeable. We will have them back again.

When finished, our pool was a brilliant clear blue, clean, fantastic. Never looked that good before.....ever! Not easy to do with a home made stone/cement inground pool. Guess they have the magic touch. Highly recommend.

As for the U-Haul truck, our company service vehicle had broken down, and in order to continue to provide exemplary service, we opted to rent a truck in avoidance of any rescheduling. Greg and crew at Fiskill pools gave us a great pool and patio. His work is top notch. We had seen a lot of friends that had used other companies and their complaints seem to never end. I am glad to say my wife and I could not be happier with Fiskill pools. Everything Greg promised he delivered. All he needs to do is install my winter cover and it's all complete. If you are looking to install a pool. Definitely call Greg.

Greg and Andrea are first rate in my book. Greg can gave me an estimate of the job. It took much more time and work that either of us expected but his crew saw the job through an he kept to the original price. I have decided to give them the pool cleaning service as well. FIRST CLASS!!!

Fishkill Pools was amazing from start to finish. Greg, who is also the owner, came with a book with all types of pool shapes, liners, and filter and heating options. He sat with us and was very patient and informative. Best of all there was no pressure from him to decide on any particular pool, you pick it and they build it. We have enjoyed the pool all summer and when it came to closing the pool, they came and within a few hours the pool was closed and a loop lock cover installed. Can't wait until spring to have them back to open it and get the pool ready for the season.

I have been using Fishkill Pools to open and close my pool for many years. I am very happy with their work. Greg and his staff are very thorough, professional and dependable. I recently had a leak in my pool and was very concerned. Greg came to my rescue in record time. He tested all the lines. The leak was in the liner. He provided me with the name of a certified scuba diver, whom I contacted and had my problem quickly resolved. They are always there for you. I would highly recommend Fishkill Pools.

Fishkill Pools was recommended by our caretaker, a local born-and-bred fellow we trust completely. We did get estimates from other pool companies, and a few were slightly lower, but we did not feel comfortable with them. Greg Eraca, the owner of Fishkill Pools, never tried a hard sell with us -- he asked what we wanted and told us the price. Period. I am so glad we went with Greg -- he is honest, decent, and really knows what he's doing. When he had to bring in other vendors, e..g., gas people (for heating the pool), fence people, etc., he brought in skilled, competent, reliable (local) people. Everyone associated with the pool did an excellent job. I am happy to say we have the most gorgeous pool (and pergola) I could have imagined. And I was not an easy client; I designed it down to the inch, showed Greg numerous photos, took weeks to make even the smallest decisions, etc. Greg was patient and even humorous throughout the process. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Fishkill Pools.
