Fantastic Painting

Stepheon is meticulous and asked each day throughout the project how things looked and if we were happy with his work. He was friendly and professional, had wonderful attention to detail and cleaned up completely at the end of each day. Would definitely use him again.

Stepheon did an excellent job with the two painting projects we needed completed.  He worked around our schedules, completed the work when he said he would and provided quality service.  He paid great attention to detail and made several patches/repairs before painting.

For the most part it went great!
The exterior project was done in July and with the rain that we had there were a few delays but whenever the weather permitted the crew was there and working.
The interior project had a hiccup at the start due to illness, but Stepheon moved heaven and earth to get my project staffed and completed with only 1 day delay! The entire crew was professional, personable, extremely considerate, and all around top notch!
As with any project there are bound to be delays, but Stepheon did everything within his power to ensure that the project was completed quickly and to our level of expectation. If I noticed anything that needed to be touched up the crew addressed it without question and in spots where the crew could have just made a judgement call and moved on, they didn't! They made sure to engage myself or my wife to make sure that it was exactly what we expected.
We plan on using Fantastic Painting again after we purchase our new house.

Stepheon Sheldon is a consummate professional who was prompt in responding to our initial inquiry. While his was not the lowest bid, it was very reasonable given the extent of the work - his assessment of the house and willingness to work with us instilled confidence as he pointed out things even we had not noticed. He is a pleasant man who completed this rather complex project within the promised time frame. His co-workers are also pleasant individuals who give great attention to detail. Before we put our home on the market , we wanted to repair any cosmetic defects. Stepheon answered my email promptly and he came and gave us an estimate in a timely manner. He started the job the following week and the job was complete in a few days. His work was excellent and he was very neat and always cleaned up before he left the house He even called about a week later to follow up with us. Stepheon is an excellent painter. I feel lucky that I trusted the reviews on the Angie's list and hire him to repair and paint the interior drywall.
Stepheon was punctuate, professional and friendly. He is very efficient and well organized. The drywall had texture on it but he managed to match it perfectly and no one could tell the difference once he finished. I am very impressed by his work and would strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a quality painting.

We were selling our house and we needed a back porch painted. It took a day and a half and Stepheon did a great job. He arrived on time and worked a full day doing most of the painting the first day. The next day, he was late arriving and didn't call so I called him. He explained that he was delayed but was on his way. Once he got to my home, he finished the job in a few hours and it turned out beautifully. I would use him again and would recommend him for any indoor painting needs.

Stepheon arrived on schedule, went right to work and completed the job faster than anticipated. He patched some bad spots, suggested some minor additional work that we had not originally requested, and did it at no extra cost. He demonstrated a very professional attitude, was pleasant to deal with and above all, did an outstanding job.

I contacted Sheldon for an estimate for repair of a bedroom ceiling and painting. A previous contractor made such a mess of the taping of the ceiling, we had to cover it with popcorn paint about 10 years ago.
Sheldon was prompt in his response and immediately started work on the room. The ceiling and walls had to be completely re-taped, the popcorn removed from the ceiling and the entire room painted.
Sheldon had his crew here each day and the place looks great.

They responded to my call quickly and were able to fit my job in the next day for me. They did an excellent job and were very neat and clean.

We are in the process of remodeling our home. We hired Stepheon to paint the upper level and we are very pleased with the quality of his work and will definitely hire again. We’ve also recommended Stepheon to a colleague and will continue to recommend to others looking for a quality job.

The quality of the work was fabulous. The pricing was really reasonable. They were very accommodating and very quick. He did as per job; it wasn't like per hour. The other that I talked to was per hour and I had no idea how long it's going to take and neither did they, but this guy said the price was per job. He is pretty good at estimating. They were terrific. He promised me it would be very dusty and in fact it was, but he cleaned up each day at the end of the day. Before he leaves he cleans the place off, so that it would be usable that night if we wanted to use it. The ceilings was sanded in and smoothed them out and painted them. I like the owner, he was really amendable, easy to work with, and also responsive.

Stepheon was a little slow in returning calls and texts (several days), but said he had some issues with the recent flooding in his own home and mechanical problems with his truck. Otherwise, he was professional, extremely punctual and very reasonably priced. Would definitely use him again.

Stepheon is excellent. I am very picky when it comes to interior painting quality and I would absolutely recommend him.
Painting: His eye for detail is excellent and he is very accommodating and friendly. Double coats were used, trim was painted very well and the always troublesome edging was done very well. I was ecstatic when he was able to put in the chair rail and it looks great! He clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to making paint and quot;touch-upsand quot; blend in with existing paint jobs and didn't get any paint where it shouldn't be.
Professionalism: I had to leave my home one of the days he was here and we had carpet coming that had to be installed that day. Not only was I completely comfortable with having Stepheon in my home when I wasn't there but he was able to let in the carpeting company, show them the room they'd be doing and let me know that they'd done an excellent job when I checked in with him later that day. He continued to go above and beyond offering to remove a broken light bulb in the garage that was posing an electrical hazard! His assistant even alerted me to one of the paint colors I'd picked out for going above the chair rail not offering enough contrast to the one below the chair rail, immediately accompanied me to Home Depot to find a better one and worked with me and the Home Depot paint mixer for what must've been an hour until he got something he knew would look right.
I would absolutely use Fantastic Painting again.

The job went very well, Stepheon takes pride in the work he does and does it professionally. I am very happy with the quality of work and workmenship. The only issue I had was weather for a timely completion.
I also hired Stepheon to do a gift job for our son and daughter-in-law's new house. It was interior painting which came out beautiful.

I wanted him to do some other work finishing my bathroom and hanging some light fixtures for me but he gave me a very high estimate, he wanted 1000. I took it at face value that he would give me a good value but my son, who is a contractor, came to visit me and he told me that the rates were too high especially since I provided most of the materials myself. Some of his workers are not reliable or arrive late. I know that he is short staffed and I think he himself is an excellent worker but I asked for an itemized estimate today and I had to finally tell him that his prices were too high. He makes the job seem like a bigger deal than it is. I'm going to use some one else to do the work that my son has recommended.

They are very meticulous and he really did an excellent job. He came recommended to us. He also cleaned up great.
