J. Hence and company was recommended by a friend of ours. Called him up and Jamie, the owner, personally came over the weekend to look at the porch. Was very professional and gave me different flooring options with a rough estimate of how much the job was going to cost. Sent me a proposal within the week and once we agreed, he started the job within a few days and completed the job in 2 1/4 days. The contractors cleaned up after themselves each day and were very pleasant. Overall very pleased with the job and working with Jamie and his contractors. In terms of price, we only checked one other company, and their estimate was 20,000 ( we were charged 4,000).

Jamie was on time for our first appointment and listened intently to what I wanted done. Although not the least expensive bid, he was not the most expensive either. He made several suggestions of which other contractors didn't and helped me to understand each phase of what they would do. The whole project took just under six weeks and all work performed was done in a very professional manner. There were four workers most of the time and each was very punctual. They cleaned up after themselves each day and acted in a very professional manner. Each answered any questions or concerns I had and if they weren't sure, they were quick to find the answer. They each had their job to do and they seemed to take great pride in their work. I highly recommend J. Hence Construction.
