Honest Hunter Springs Review , I signed a contract back in November to have drainage installed in my backyard due to flooding. After asking Scott multiple times ”Could you let me know how much you think this would change the cost?” No revisions or change orders were made to the contract. Scott contacted me June 4th 2 weeks before the project was going to start regarding the project. I told him that if it is more than the initial cost do not install the landscaping. Still no change order. Scott agreed and said “It all goes to the same pot.” Workers showed up at my house on a Thursday morning. I was not home. My wife introduced herself to Dan and EJ. They explained the project to her. Not once stating an added cost or additional work. The next day I called Scott regarding doing a future project, he never mentioned any added cost. The same day I asked Dan if the landscaping was included in the contract. He said yes that it was included in the contract. I received an additional bill for $2500 that I never authorized with a change order. The project was completed and I called Scott regarding this added cost. Scott said “You are a teacher you are not stupid” you should have known that it was going to to cost more. I would highly recommend no one to do business with Hunter Springs. I am absolutely appalled that no change order with price or even a quote was given.

They did a great job, highest rating for them. Good communication with them and good value for the price.

Excellent work, excellent attitude, and great job overall!  I was contacted ahead of time about the start date, and the workers arrived as scheduled and on time.  They were friendly, professional, and very skilled.  They communicated with me throughout the three-day job to make sure everything looked the way I wanted it to.  They were perfectionists when it came to placing the boulders, and the wall they built is a work of art.  They repaired my lawn where the stones and equipment had made ruts, and swept and washed down the driveway to remove all construction debris.  Supervisors showed up occasionally during the work, which was probably unnecessary due to the skill of the workers, but was further evidence of Hunter Springs' commitment to quality.  I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future landscape work!

They did a find job of leveling the property, but they seeded it on a day when two inches of rain was predicted.  When the seed washed away they said it was "an act of God" and they were not responsible for that.

The two retaining walls look great and were what I expected.  They had trouble finding the boulders because suppliers didn't have any in stock, but after a delay they came up with appropriate ones.  The grass did not grow in so they are coming back to correct the problem.

.Scott fully explained all aspects of the project in advance, and was available  and responsive throughout the work.  His team was polite, very had working, professional, careful with lawn and plantings, and cleaned up afterwards.  The job was completed ahead of schedule.
