My house needed a new roof, (which had a small leak) causing a water spot in the living room ceiling. Glen Z & Gary D assured me HomePro First would be able to repair/fix any leaks with the complete installation of a new roof done in September (2021). But the leak in the living room ceiling continued. Not only did various repair attempts by HomePro First crews fail; the leak saturation spread causing a large section of ceiling & insulation to collapse, leaving a large gaping hole in the living room. Both roof and ceiling are still in dire need of repair as of June (2024). Gary D (owner/partner) got involved personally to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, after empty promises, failed excuses and another winter with a gaping hole in the living room ceiling, I took HomePro 1st to Small Claims Court. The Court ruled in my favor awarding a $5,000 judgement in (January 2024). It is now June 2024, neither Gary D or Glen Z have made any effort to make "Good" on satisfying the judgement payment, Recently, Glen Z (owner/partner) emailed me saying that although he is "back to save the company", He has no access to this info?!? I've escalated the matter (April 2024) by filing with the Onondaga County Clerk's Records Office. Hmm sounds like, "Meet the New Boss. . . Same as the Old Boss" My advice to those who are currently searching, selecting and deciding on purchasing a new roof installation, repairs/leaks, Not all roofing crews are equally experienced professionals. The overall job quality was good. After the job was done is where my problems are. They left their trailer parked in my driveway for three days after the job was done. A downspout was crushed, they said they would replace but havent. I called and texted Glen several times about a receipt. He doesnt respond and I have no receipt.

The crew was quick and efficient. Bought some additional repairs to my attention which were quickly addressed.

After being taken by a bad contractor once this year, I did my research and chose HomePro 1st and I am very glad I did. Not only was their price the best, but Glen went over and above to replace my roof and chose a great team headed by Austin, to do the work. I am impressed with their work ethic and Austin took the time to answer my questions and go over all the materials they were using. I am an elderly widow and was treated with respect. The team also cleaned up all the mess and were all friendly! I highly recommend this company and Austin and his team.

Glen was attentive and very accommodating. The roofing shingle has a 50 year warranty that can be transferred to next owner. Their staff were efficient, respectful and hard working. The end result was beautiful. I am writing an addendum to this review. Initially, Glen was what I described above, however, I believe that they have a difficult time maintaining their crew. They only have a few reliable roofers; Austin however, the others tend to be unreliable. We are still waiting to have someone repair the ceiling as was promised. It may be a blessing that the ceiling was not completed because even with the new roof, there continues to be a leak???? Now, Glen is not returning our texts, messages or calls. UPDATE: Glen scheduled Austin and Luke to come out and determine the source of the leak. After much discerning on Austins part, it was determined that one of the roofers put a thick layer of caulking prior to placing shingles- leaving a little gap where rainfall would settle and eventually seep underneath, finding its way into the interior of the home. This resulted in the ceiling leak. Austin and Luke removed the shingles, caulking, insulation and debris and place a metal sheet, flashing and shingles. He is redoing the ceiling as well. Austin believes that this should rectify the problem. I will update this review once I know that this matter has been resolved.

They completed the roof in a few days. The only problem Iâ ve had is when they stripped the roof we had heavy rains that evening. Water came in and ruined a portion of my Sheetrock. I was assured it would be repaired, but after several attempts to have it repaired the owner has since stopped responding to my messages. The workers that put the roof on did an overall good job, but I am not happy with the Sheetrock issue.

They were very professional handed me a folder containing all the particulars, answered all my questions, and were very accommodating.

Company rep was very accessible and personable. Crew did not finish job in one day as proposed. They did come back and finished a few days later as weather permitted. The clean up was very good, but had to call 3 days later to get the dumpster removed. So theyâ re not perfect, but I would still recommend them. The quality of workmanship is very good.

Hired them to replace our roof. Price was amazing so cancelled all other estimates and went with them. A week and a half from roof job a wind storm starting ripping shingles off the roof. At 6pm on a Friday evening the owner Glen came over with Austin and patched the shingles to stop any more damage. Amazing customer service I will be using them for more projects around the house after the roof is done. Thank you so much guys!

They came over quickly after my signed onto Angie's List. We had a massage ice jam on our roof with a leak inside the house. The weather was terrible at the time but they cleared away the ice jam. So far, so good! Excellent customer service!!!!!!

They responded quickly to my ad on Home Advisor, came to my house within an hour, and resolved our issue. Would hire them again.

Excellent customer service. They were prompt to respond, thorough and totally professional in their approach. They went above and beyond to repair our roof and mitigate the ice damage. Great service!

Shawn and Glen were amazing. They responded to my inquiry promptly and took care of the leaking roof in no time. I will certainly hire them in the future.
