We left our dog for two weeks because they also do boarding and we also get our dogs and cats to get checked there. So, they went boarding for two weeks. They've been great! We've been taking our pets there for the past two years when we moved. We haven't had any problems with them. They've been really good, they also board our animals when needed. I never had a problem.

Our family was relocating to Hawaii and part of the process is the dogs had to go through a Hawaii mandated "quarantine" process before they could be relocated. This meant that we had to leave them behind in Syracuse until that was done. Leaving our dogs behind was very hard and we are grateful that we could rely on Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital to board them for 7 weeks and also provide document for them to Hawaii's specifications. The dogs arrived in Hawaii in good health and they still smelled clean from the last grooming Fayetteville Vet gave them. For them to still smell clean despite the long trip they endured was a small miracle.

Since we are no longer in Syracuse, NY, we cannot utilize their services. If anyone needs pet services, you should give them a call. Also, I think their prices are very reasonable.

Upon arrival, one enters the building by climbing a set of stairs to 2 different waiting rooms separated by a low wall - one for cats, one for dogs. (If you or your pet is unable to climb the stairs, there is a special entrance, just call ahead to inquire). After a minimal waiting time, you and your pet/s is greeted and shown to the exam room. Shortly after that, the veterinarian arrives to chat with you and to examine your pet/s. Reminder cards for routine exams and vaccinations are sent by postal mail. It would be great if reminders could be sent via email as well.
The staff and veterinarians treat your pets as members of your family. While we have never required veterniary services for euthanasia, the staff and vets have shown kindness and compassion with our sick and dying animals and have sent condolence cards after our animals passed.

When I picked them up, they had been bathed. This was especially good for me because living in Syracuse, NY in the middle of winter, it is difficult to bath them. I also thought the price was good. |I have already scheduled another boarding for the dogs.

One dog was heartworm possitive and instead of testing before surgery, he did not, and the dog almost died of pneumonia Another dog during neutering, he must have cut an artery and the dog would not stop bleeding. The Vet claimed the dog as a "bleeder" which was not the case A third one, her spay stitches broke and her intestines came out and had to be removed, only immediate emergency surgery saved her life
