"I did acknowledge there was an issue. I gave the client the option of me going there to repair it properly or to pay for part of the proposal that they provided to me for the repair. The client chose to have me pay for part of the cost instead in which I sent them a check immediately and they deposited it."
"There were electrical wires in the area that were hanging over where the door was to be installed. I informed the client that this would be an issue and she assured me that her husband would take care of it before we came to do the work. When we arrived, the wires were not moved and upon completion of the job we did a temporary solution so the door could be used until her husband was either able to fix it or a licensed electrician was brought to the house. The original agreement that we had was to remove the door hardware off of the existing door and install it on the new door which is what was completed. Once we were done and packed up the client informed me that they had purchased a new hardware set that they wanted to have installed. I had another job already scheduled but informed the client that I would come back during the week to remove the old hardware and install the new one at no additional charge. I've since gone back to the home, completed a more permanent fix on the wires and installed the new hardware at no additional cost to the homeowner. The homeowner has also requested that I do additional work at the home."
