Ehrlich Pest Control

Ehrlich does a thorough job.  They will come back as needed to make sure the job is done.

It was quick and went very well.  They do comback a few times to check on everthing.

I have just started this service with them and I'm very happy.  I was impressed with the thoroughness of the report that the technician provided for the inspection.  We know all of the problems that were found and the steps that the technician took to correct them.  They will continue to treat my home each quarter.

However, there is poor communication between the office ad the tech.  I have gotten several phone calls to reschedule the SAME service, from both the office and the tech.  THey always come when I am not home, so I do not deal with them personally, but the tech seems very professional when I have spoken to him, and he apologizes for the office staff and confusion.  REcently needed service at another location, and got several prices-realized that what I have been paying is approx. $200/yr more than I would with most other highly rated companies in the area.  The difference is that the other company does not routinely cover fleas and bedbugs, altho the service is available at a reduced rates for customers. In my experience, unfortunately a relative HAD bedbugs several years ago-I question whether they truly they cover it, since it is a highly specialized service.THey need to fix their communication issues, and perhaps offer more options for service plans.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time. He discussed the current needs and then went about performing his duties thoroughly and efficiently. He checked bait stations and replaced  each with fresh product. He sprayed for insects in the basement as well as treated the house, garage and barn. He followed the same routine each visit.

We have always been pleased with how well this very professional technician has performed his duties during the three years he has been servicing our location.

They were very responsive and explained what they were going to do.  They came out the next day and then came several more times to spray.

We had a problem with ants that they are dealing with and so far it is successful. I guess they are doing their job properly.

We have them on a regular basis and are on a contract. They come when they say they will come. They are pretty articulate and are efficient. They explain what they are doing and why. My husband likes them.

While residing the home, the contractor found evidence of carpenter ants, nests, live ants, and damage. There was and had been no indication inside the house of ants or other insects. The finding was a significsnt surprise to me. The contractor recommended contacting a pest control service. Three large companys sent a person to do a free home inspection, and view the ant problem especially. Mr. Carlston was the most professional of the three. He was knowledgeable, direct, did not create fear to induce an immediate contract, and, did not negotiate his pricing to negotiate an immediate. Also unlike the others, he provided written proposals, one for immediate treatment to address the problem, and a second for ongoing service to assure eradication of the ant problem and other pests. Over the weekend I decided on Ehlich and called Mr. Carlston early Monday morning. He had a technician on site early that afternoon to address the problem area found by the contractor, another area he found where ants were entering behind the siding, and the general outside treatment. Great! Two days later, as the contractor removed more old siding he found a very large nest with significant damage to the insulation. My wife called me at my volunteer job, and I called Mr. Carlston with some urgency. He said that if he could not find an available technician, he would get the equipment and do it himself that day. Again, a technician arrived that afternoon to treat the newly found area, under the initial contract. Mr. Carlston, Ehrlich, recognized the urgency of the situation, the opportunity for a 'direct attack' while the siding was off making the affected areas open to the best possible treatment, and the need to not delay the residing project. Twice Mr. Carlston, Ehrlich, greatly exceeded their stated expectation for responding in 24 to 48 hours. I am extremely satisfied and will accept the second proposal to continue service for at least another year. I highly recommend Mr. Carlston, Ehrlich, to anyone seeking pest contol in this area.
