The Final Touch Long Ialand

We were tired of the colors on the walls.... it was 9 years since we last painted the house. And we DIDN'T paint the bedrooms. So we went color hunting and decided to hire a contractor to do the work. We had 4 estimates. Ranging from $4200 to $8400. Normally i would pick the middle guy, but he did not impress us. the high estimate was just too ridiculous to consider. The guy we hired was recommended by our daughter who works with him. The painting company is a side business for him. He came in on a Saturday, with 5 guys, and prepped the rooms. spackle, tape and wipe down the walls. that day, they did the entire first floor, living room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway and stairwell. two bedrooms upstairs and half the hallway. Sunday 4 guys came in to finish the upstairs hallway, bathroom and master bedroom. touched up the first floor and painting the front door. They were courteous, answered any questions we had and cleaned up afterward with no problem. We found out later through our daughter that Dave was aware that my wife was not comfortable with his people coming in so he added on a man to get things done faster. I was impressed!!!
