SOFABED ETC

My wife and I purchased a sofabed and ottoman from sofabeds, etc. this past spring. Though their prices were reasonable, it took over three months until our furniture to arrive. When our furniture was finally arrived, there was a flaw in the fabric of the ottoman and it was not delivered. It took nearly two months more for the ottoman to finally arrive. We were given a time window for delivery of between 9am and 11am. The driver called our home at 7:45 saying he would be there in 15 minutes. When my wife told him that it was early and she was told a window of 9am to 11am, the driver became agitated and told her that she must not want the furniture. When she insisted that she did, and agreed to have him deliver the furniture at 8am, she waited around but he never showed. When she called the store to complain, the manager was initially extremely sexist and condescending, referring to her as "sweetheart" and "honey", but dismissing everything she had to say. He then went on to tell her that she turned down the delivery, even though she didn't. When she tried to discuss the matter with him, he began to yell and scream over the phone, insisting that she called him to "pick a fight". She tried for 30 minutes to calm him down and discuss the matter, and eventually got him to agree to deliver the furniture - which we paid for 5 months ago - between 5pm and 6pm. At no point did he treat her with anything approaching respect, let alone apologize for our inconvenience. Fortunately, all of the yelling occurred over the phone and not in person, and my wife was never in any physical danger from this maniac. We will obviously never use them again.
