They did an excellent job, however it was expensive

Late getting started but moved along ok. Needed to fix problems after work done, came back several times. Stayed after dark several nights and lost parts to my awnings. They contacted awning company to get replacements and had them come out to fix them. I had to pay the bill of $200. I got $100 back. They lost the parts in the dark.  Would not use anyone that was that far away because they complained about the distance they needed to travel. Comunication problems several times with workers. English not their first language. Very nice people but communication not easy. Supervisor Mike bent over backwards to correct problems. They did clean up the mess and carted it away. I hope they did not totally destroy my plants. Never had work like this done before so I did not know what to expect and this was my first time handeling it alone. Next time I have something this big done I will get a friend to supervise.

It took a while to get started (not their fault) Waiting for funds from Hurricane Sandy. Once started we met with team and disucced time for project to begin. Team was early to arrive and get started. I only hope that manager was present. He showed up for at least three to five minutes and falied to check work. He always asked for more money with out checking work. This was left up to us to do. Unfortunately, some of the jobs had to be redone or fixed. Sean, his boss then came to see what was going on and he took over from there. Everything was to our specifications. The indoor crew had only to be directed once. They covered everything, clean up after themselves and check for approval constantly. What a great crew! This was worth the money. My house looks livable again.

Mangers checked up on workers and they were punctual, cleaned up and when the manager saw a mistake they corrected it .

So far Pro Quality Home Improvements Inc have been doing what they are supposed to be doing. They have been prompt.

They came on time and immediately went about performing the tasks I contracted them to do. They worked effectively and efficiently. The workers really knew what they were doing and it was obvious that they each had a great deal of experience in installing replacement windows. I was extremely impressed with the manner in which they cleaned up after themselves to the point where you would not know that they had been ere and performed the extensive work that they had done when they completed their assigned tasks. They realigned my garage door to eliminate daylight on both sides of the door which was causing me to loose heat and could possibly permit insects and small rodents to get gain access into my house. I recently had some brick masonry work performed on the front facade of my house and a cap over the top had to be installed which the original contractor failed to do and would have caused water to get behind the brickwork and loosen the bricks which could cause serious injury if they eventually would dislodge and fall down into the driveway and hit someone who as entering or exiting the garage. Pro Quality installed the cap and chaulked it to alleviate the problem. I highly recommend this company to homeowners as their service was far superior to others I have had work on my property in the past. Ed V. Farmingdale, NY

there were two contractors involved .
every thing in the first contract was completed !
when second contract was completed we could not see any difference ?
no one could explain what was done because neither contractor was ever present when any work was being done!
they came quickly for the payments!
It was uncomfortable situation overall !
so far so good no more leaks. 04/18/2012
also the second contractor was rude and unprofessional.
he later did apologize and admitted he was wrong!
they said should we have a leak in the same area they would return and fix the problem!

It was a positive experience from start to finish!

The roof replacement was handled with outstanding professionalism from start of project to the end with the clean up.

It looks very nice, but what I realized is that I did not get any other quotes. I think that it was probably much more expensive than it had to be. I did not talk to them about the reduction of price because originally we had thought that it would be a much more involved job, but it was not. They offered to bring down the price by $250 which we should not have accepted; it was our fault that we did not negotiate further with them. I am pleased with the end result, in terms of the quality of the work that was done I have absolutely no negative feelings about it. It was a nice job. There were certain corrections which needed to be made and it was made, and I was satisfied with that. In terms of the cost they also gave me a price for a totally different job which was putting on in your roof. I did have two additional estimates given to me. This was for the complete roof on the house. That was a totally different thing because they wanted to get additional jobs, so they told us we needed a new roof and I think we agreed. So they gave us an estimate. The estimate they gave us had all sorts of discounts that they offered. The two other estimates that we got were both from licensed and insured roofers, but I was not comparing them properly. One was three quarters of what the price was and the other was about a half. I realized at that point that we had paid a little more on the job in the kitchen. When I heard the tremendous difference I realized that I had probably paid a great deal more than I needed to. My likelihood of using them again is very low because just judging by the price that they gave me for the roofing was significantly higher than the other two. In terms of the quality of work they are good; but in terms of the price that they give on the estimate, my friends should look to see what the others are offering because I believe that they are higher priced than most of the other companies. My overall experience would be fair. The work that they did which was supposed to start on the 14th and end may be two and a half to three days later actually was ten days long. I am very happy with the end result because the quality of the end product was very good. I would not be inclined to use them again because of the price most of all and then to some extent because of the delay. Although I know that routinely every person gets work done in their house and it always takes longer than it should, that was a little bit annoying. The need was not anyway much and so this was not the most important issue. If they had had a good price, and the workmanship was fine and very good then I would have probably rated them high. They were supposed to start on the 14th at 9am, and at 9 o’clock I received a phone call from them that they hadn’t yet got the tiles of the floor delivered, now that to me didn’t make any sense. If they hadn’t had the tiles delivered by Friday, then they should have called on Friday and said that they wouldn’t be able to start on Monday. They were all different in terms of professionalism. The wall paper guy and the floor guys were excellent, they were absolutely fine. The painters had not checked in and painted the windows shut, so we couldn’t open the windows up. We can open them now because the person that came and fixed it was able to loosen it up. They also dripped paint a couple of places and somebody else cleaned it up. It wasn’t terrible. There was a light fixture over the sink, which was also the painter’s part. That light fixture is very simple. It works on sort of a spring action, so you can just pull it down and you don’t have to take it out to change the bulb. The person that came to fix the goods and the windows, also fixed that. The person was responsive, but the painters were terrible. They were not entirely professional. Those things shouldn’t have happened. When I paint it that doesn’t happen. The wall paper guy and the floor guys were unbelievably good. I would not use their services again in the future.

I am amazed between the differences between the contractors working on my house. This company what they say they will do. The bosses come out and check on the workers. The workers are very profsional and clean up afterthemselves.

They called me, and I asked them to call me back and they did. I looked them up on the net and found them on Angie’s list. I am happy with them. They are very responsive. They came when they said they will and did the job quickly. I am overall very satisfied with them.

We were very pleased with the prompt response. Glenn called us and set up the appointment and the workers came on time and were very pleasant. The work was done to my satisfaction and the clean up was dillingent. The painter were very neat.

The Saleman was professional, punctual, well informed and pleasant. The workers showed on on schedule and the work was impectable. The clean up was excellent and follow up and communiction couldn't be better. I will recommend Pro Quality to all of my friends.
