Service was good. They were helpful but heard conflicting views from different salesmen regarding one component of the washer.

Do not buy pc richards warranty when buying large appliances. I cannot stress enough that one should always opt for the manufacturer warranty. You are at pc mercy because they contract with several companies to service appliances. You may have to make more then one call for the same problem as we'll

P.C. Richard and Son lousy service again, waited 6 weeks for a part for fridge,
lost 2 days of work, 1st waited home, he called wrong parts, sorry . next time (5 weeks later) repairman shows up without all parts. need to resched yet again. correct part never ordered. service center refused to assist on why parts were not ordered and rude. how do they stay in business. will never purchase from them again. supervisor will call back, never did.

They let me know ahead of time the cost would be labor plus cost of any parts, which was going to be $115, I think (this happened a while back so I'm recalling as best as I can) for the labor alone but they guaranteed that the problem would be fixed. It ended up costing a fair bit more, but that's because they can charge anything they like for the part they order -- online the part would've been significantly less. The first time they came out, the problem was diagnosed and the part ordered. Unfortunately the 2nd time they came out, the problem was not fixed because they had the wrong part. So it was fixed the 3rd time.

SMOOTH

WE HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH OUR WASHER AND THEY WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT WOULD REPAIR IT. THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
