Stay away. Our initial basement project went as planned. The subsequent job remodeling our bathroom was a disaster. Subway tiles were not straight when installed (or when re-installed after we pointed problems out). Despite assuring us that the mosaic tiles on a feature wall would not have the same issues, we came back to a sloppy, uneven job. Every day was another problem we had to point out and have repaired until we finally told Jeff that we did not want him to return and then found another contractor who took care of everything. While initially professional about the situation, acknowledging the problems with the work by refunding some of the payment, Jeff stopped returning my emails when I explained to him that because he did not install the shower components according to the stated manufacturer's directions, the shower head leaked even when not turned on. Our new contractor was able to repair this by replacing some of the plumbing that had been done incorrectly. Beware before working with this contractor. The quality of the tiling work he did was awful and the whole experience was needlessly stressful.

This was a total home remodel, meaning a gut job to the studs in 2012. Jeff's work was below average, the apex of the roof where the siding and J Channel connect continually blew off in the wind because he cut the siding too short. I was counter sinking the header between the kitchen and main room, he ordered the lally columns and measured too short; the contractor I hired to complete the house and fix his mistakes trashed approx $1200- for the columns alone. Not including the costs associated with fixing the siding. The only thing done well was the demo. For the work that was completed I was totally over charged, then badgered to pay him more which I refused. I'm sorry I didn't have time to take him to court to recover some costs. I would not recommend him. He may have learned more since then but I believe this job was over his head in scope and he chose to not be straight forward about his skill set at the time. To make matters worse he was referred through a fellow Real Estate agent.

Jeff was contracted to do siding, demo and total interior renovation on a property in Levittown I purchased months before Hurricane Sandy. He demo'd the interior and when the interior called for a lally column to counter sink the header to raise the ceiling, he measured improperly and expected me to pay for the problem. He only completed the siding and did so poorly. there were specific pieces of siding at the apex of the roof that continually fell off from wind because they were cut too short. I had to pay others to fix ALL the problems he created for me. Instead of just being straight forward and honest about his limitations, he touted how much he knew and how good he was. I'm sure he had some defined abilities but managing an entire gut project was totally out of his scope and ability. In good conscience i could not professionally refer him to anyone.
